Here's a simple idea. Why don't we, um, I don't know, work on solving the root causes of the killers wanting to do what they did, and NOT on whether or not there are guns out there. Without the desire to do such things, there could be a gun in every hand, yet no one would be murdered. But, by all means, blame it on the inanimate object, and NOT the killers THEMSELVES.
Ft. Worth used to be a laid back area, but incidents like this have sadly become common place in the DFW area.

I hear you. Nobody pulled guns in the 90s when I grew up. Now, parents don't parent. They don't check their kid's room or vehicle while living in their home. Parents now literally don't know where their kids are and don't care. Then they sue the cops when their kid runs from the cops in a stolen car, full of stolen merchandise, while carrying a stolen gun and get shot and killed.
It's the parent's fault many times when their criminal kids get killed or kill some innocent other kid.

This is why we don't celebrate the 4th anymore outside and stay in. Every year the stories mount up. Firework block parties gone wrong, innocent kids shot, stray bullets etc. We celebrate inside early and at night we cut the lights off and go to bed and hope a bullet don't come flying through. Neighborhood watch starts at 7pm. If you're caught doing illegal fireworks or discharging a firearm you will be reported. It's not snitching it's being safe. My community is full of kids we don't play that..

Real estate values are fueled by the mix of African Americans into an area due to their caring and respectful nature of these communities, an example of all they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self-improvement by hard work and self-reliant can- do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive we would most undoubtedly be poorer as a nation.
