As a rum fan I absolutely love this professional content! It’s so entertaining! I also loved your education session on the four square distillery! I love the Dooley 12 year rum! It’s was my first rum and gas become my go to for sipping or making rum and Coke’s. It’s so versatile!
Just opened this one tonight and wow what a bright floral nose. There are deeper notes like banna and molasis but the floral notes are what struck me. A nice pour of this will actually fill the area your in with a sweat smokey smell. The taste is fantastic as a sipper. No reason to mix this with anything but like you mentioned you certainly can.
Not sugary sweet...this is exactly why I love the rum from Barbados. I've only done one cocktail, and it was a rhubarb daiquiri I made last night w/ Real McCoy. I will have to order in RL Seale, I haven't found it yet in Omaha.
Rhubarb Daiquiri??? That sounds great - curious, what did you use for the Rhubarb, and which of the RMC expressions? (And be sure to let the folks at Quench NE know! :) )
@@AltamarBrands I used the last of my 12yr McCoy. And we have rhubarb in our garden. Boiled, drained off the juice, added sugar, and refrigerated for a week. The rest of the stalk was used for ice cream topping. ;) Real McCoy has the recipe on their FB page from a few weeks back. I highly recommend it. I've not heard of Quench... but thanks for the heads up.

Haven’t met a lot of Dark rum fans, but I’m happy to know there are others out there!
I'm a huge fan of the R.L Seale's 10yr, can't wait to find a bottle of the 12!

@@jdkroh this sounds amazing.
Good review - just tried it as an old fashioned and wow you were right! It sipped good as well on a rock
Grabbed one in Chicago and love it. It’s not sold here in Michigan though 😔
the best thing about living in Barbados is there is no sugar added to our rums. It is just not done
Whiskey guy or whiskey girl OR WHISKEY PERSON🤦🤦🤦🤦
Good video. Get rid of the music
