My YZF-R125 only tops out at barely over 115kmh... Also, accerelation isn't that great. Is it because i'm really fucking fat (around 100kg) or is something wrong with my bike? It makes a slight ticking sound when riding, but that's probably just the valves.

My 125 2018 yzfr I hit 100 mph every time and it's stock. Most of the yzf-r bike's generally will do 85 to 90 stock. I do have a CBR RR as well but I use the 125 for round town and for a small engin bike they are stupid fast for what they are. Also try to get my nephew on one but couldn't pay the insurance premium of £1800 a year. The yzf-r is in a really high insurance category.

Just because that bike is just a 125cc doesnt mean it performed the same. Please keep in mind that the YZF R125 is a sports bikes type so basically its gearing is quite optimised for performance, some parts of it are way beyond than your everyday 125cc bikes here in philippines and not to mention since its a sports bike type it is built for an optimum performance in exchange for more fuel consumption. So dont expect a honda wave 125 or xrm 125 or any moped bike thst are 125cc to be the same as this aerodynamically designed r125 and high powered 125cc sports bike

That's normal, motorcycle manufacturers do this on purpose. My speedo is off by 6km/h according to my phone's GPS.
