*Lures looks very realistic even prunked my friends with it.Looks very durable **enjoyable.fishing** recommend sunk very good into the water.Cons: Storage package could be bigger.*
Fish can't tell the price of lures!!! Years ago when I was a teen ager I bought a value pack of spinnerbaits from Kmart and the bass tore those things up.
i love the dollar spinners from wal mart I've caught lots of fish on them. the paint chips easy and the skirt falls off but I reinforce it with fishing line and good to go
Chris here's a bit of advice, those lures are awesome IF you toss the junk skit and put on a quality silicone skirt. I have 15 or more of them, bought good skirts and have caught tons of bass on them. Fish on!
did you realize the only difference is the brand and the price, the most expensive spinnerbait I have is 2 dollars and they work the same as strike kings
CA glue (Crazy Glue) belongs in every tackle box. I use it to make the skirts essentially permanent by allowing a tiny bit to "wick in" where the rubber band and skirt elements touch the body. Another use is to make custom length plastics (worms, lizards, all of them) by sectioning out the store bought. If you are tired of the peckerheads breaking your plastics, a small amount of glue gives them a chance to catch again.
I've got one of these Wal-Mart spinnerbaits in every color they've offered and, for the money, they work great. I've got bass and pike on them and the only argument I have is that I wish the skirts would stay on better. I know replaceable ones are available and I'll do that when these ones completely fall apart, but it's pretty rewarding when you can pull in a 30+ inch pike on a $1 lure!
Those $1 spinnerbaits are surprisingly good. The skirt collars don't last long, but you can replace the skirts, or wrap them with braided line around them and add a dab of super glue. I do wish they had more weights and blade combos, but you can also change the blades. They're great cheap baits to modify to your needs or to practice lurecraft. Can't do much about the weight though. They're a bit light.
They are actually quite nice. Caught 5 pike, 4 bass in two hours and another 3 bass the next day on the same lure with minimal damage. I highly recommend as I think they are a great value .....
I have caught a ton on those. i break them in by holding in high pressure waterhose stream and pinch the keepers on the blade wire to make it squeek a little. good stuff.
I actually got three of these for my sister as she wanted to start up fishing so i bought her a nice tackle box with an assortment of lures and i actually loaded one of these up on my setup and they are surprisingly not that bad! I mean yes there are better options but for a buck i was pretty satisfied! I caught a few solid 1.5-2 pounders at a local pond. I also got her a strike king spinner bait too and obviously those are a way better option but for her i just wanted to give her the options to try all sorts of stuff. So i just grabbed all sorts of cheapies and a few of the nicer ones to give her a nice variety to try out. She seems to love the Hula Poppers the most along with the shallow diving lures. She's more of a "look how cute it is!" type of girl when picking out lures so it's a good thing i did the shopping XD She woulda came back with everything neon blue and pink. Finding a rod setup for her was tricky too as it had to be pretty so she ended up liking the Pfluger President 7' spinning combo and that's a pretty solid setup for a beginner angler.
Glad I saw this.I have never used any of those cheap spinnerbaits, surprised the wire didn't break after several fish. I have had a Terminator T-1 spinerbait break. I'll have to try some of those cheep ones. Bill in Michigan City.
I've only ever used cheap Walmart lures. They work just fine and when you get stuck on everything in the lake like I do, it doesn't hurt as much when you lose a few
Academy has some excellent bargain spinner baits. Those are all I use for spinner baits. They've caught a ton of bass on the Red River here in Louisiana.
I have fished with these for years. Black and chartreuse, blue and white, black and orange were my favorite. Can't beat the price. Have you ever tried gummie worms tricked or Texas rigged? Try it you will be surprised.
I have a couple different colors of the Walmart spinnerbaits and they hold up pretty well. no complaints really. the blades don't have near as much action as my KVD but its a solid bait. nice video man
the Walmart 99¢ spinnerbaits are number three on my favorite spinnerbait list. number one is Lures Factory Quiet Storm, and two is the Lures Factory i-spinner
If you're from Indiana I can show you a few of my local honey holes. My family owns a farm pond with HUGE bass in it and there is a duck pond that produces a LOT of 2-5 pounders. Great vids.
To keep the skirts up use floss. Btw I have been fishing those lures for years and no difference in fish numbers or quality due to the mint smell, I'm comparing to strike King spinners
your lucky the numbers you caught is a great day here in California its hard bass fishing out here unless you got a boat and your on a pattern you know that works for the season and type of day the fishing pressure is so high and the water is clear. we have limited amount of lakes so everyone heavily fishes them year round and even in winter the fish never get a break
I use these things all the time, caught 6 1/2 pound bass and several 5ish pounders. They are great for the price. If you take the time to find ones with good rubber bands around the skirt your golden.. The spinnerbaits are better then the 1$ buzzbaits, but the buzzbaits aren't to bad either once you get your propeller wire the way you want.. Only drawback is only available in 1/4 ounce.... even the color options are decent.. that fish you caught at 8 minutes was about 3 1/2 to 4 pounds...
these are amazing lures - for $1 each. have caught many bass on them, some over 5 lb. but the skirts are junk - they fall apart after a few heavy bouts of usage. the blades tend to rust if you don't dry them.
the $1.00 buzz bait works really well if you bend the wire down where the blade hits the head i use a 4 inch curly tail trailer ive hooked into plenty of bass on it
I get those for my kids. 65# braided line will snug up the skirt and make it last longer. use the white one with a white trick worm on the back (cut 2" off the trick) when you pop the spinner the trick worm will go crazy on the back.
i've been using that same spinner from walmart all year and i've caught over 200 bass and 3 pike never replaced that spinner.. got a few 8+lber with it it's actually my favorite spinner to use
Chris's Outdoor Adventures, I have that exact same lure from Walmart, same color and everything, I'm from Minnesota and that is a really good lure to use here anytime in the season, so if you ever go fishing in Minnesota bring a couple of tho's, the huge bass bite on them like you would not believe, I've gone through about 14 of them this year due to losing them to monster fish, I lent one to a friend of mine who goes to bass fishing tournaments and he ended up winning 2 times in a row!!! That is his No.1 bait to use now. Hope this information was useful. Safe fishing;)
I grew up on those cheap spinner baits on 6lb mono. caught a 5lber 20inch bass and dozens of pike under 30 inches in them. great lures for the price. gander mountain has nice half ounce spinners for 2 dollars in wisconsin if you want a heavier spinnerbait for cheap.
Heck yeah! Positive attitude for the win! Man you looked like a Hula girl with that tippy kayak! Keep caching them bruh! So do you like covering water like take three or four casts nothing bites move on until you hook up with a hungry fish or do you feel it out and pick apart each area till you hook up with one?
This past summer I caught my second biggest pike on that exact same spinner in the same color. That day I caught 2 20inchers one 28 and my second biggest a 37in pike. The spinner did not fail me what so ever.
If you happen to come across humdinger spinnerbaits. Pick some up there like 2-3$ but they work. I've used $10 terminator spinnerbaits but the humdinger in my opinion are way better.
Lake my father was born and raised on for the better part of his childhood. heard a lot about it, but my great grandmother now lives in Greensburg and me and my parents live in a small town about an hour and half from there. Indiana bass, gotta love em'
I've flipped one of those same kayaks fishing for smallmouth in Maine. Hooked into a 3lber, got it in the "livewell" and flipped and lost everything but the fish
when you sit in the kayak keep your knees spread open under the lip and adjust the roll/tip with your hips....separate your hips from your torso.....Just trying to help. Love the video. That's a whitewater kayak.....
Nice Bass tho , i work at walmart man and I will tell ya straight up I hammer the dollar Spinbaits ! Worth a buck the skirts are wimpy but worthy ! Keep Castin!
*Lures looks very realistic even prunked my friends with it.Looks very durable **enjoyable.fishing** recommend sunk very good into the water.Cons: Storage package could be bigger.*
Fishing lures are primarily designed to catch fishermen first, and fish second.
Ohenry436 👍
In most cases, so true
Ohenry436 got that right lol I like Making my own to toss around. Some work better than others but hell, that's just more to mess with lol
Ohenry436 hence...lunkerhunt. Lol
banjo minnow
Lol "I think 1rod came and pissed them off" lmao
Lol glad someone caught the reference!
+Chris' Outdoor Adventures hell yeah that's some funny shit right there . Keep your vids coming, really enjoy the Chanel. 👍👍👍👍

Fish can't tell the price of lures!!! Years ago when I was a teen ager I bought a value pack of spinnerbaits from Kmart and the bass tore those things up.
i love the dollar spinners from wal mart I've caught lots of fish on them. the paint chips easy and the skirt falls off but I reinforce it with fishing line and good to go
Easy fix!
he gave you a racing kayak bro, I have the exact same one.
I didn't know what it was, just knew it wasn't meant for fishing lol
it's not for racing it's for white water my racing kayak is 21 feet long 17 inches wide that is about 10 feet long by 30 inches wide
People race kayaks??
Chris here's a bit of advice, those lures are awesome IF you toss the junk skit and put on a quality silicone skirt.
I have 15 or more of them, bought good skirts and have caught tons of bass on them.
Fish on!
"Look how long it is, next to my rod!" Dude, I hear that constantly, when I'm taking a leak in a public restroom.
Yay another kayak video i love them keep doing them I enjoy seeing you fall in
Hahah luckily I didn't fall in this time!
Love those spinner baits!
They catch em!
Indeed. I've been throwing chatter baits this year with pretty good luck. I still thing spinnerbaits are one of the best big bass lures tho..
did you realize the only difference is the brand and the price, the most expensive spinnerbait I have is 2 dollars and they work the same as strike kings
Billy sweet what is it called?
Yep
Billy sweet you're pretty much paying for the name
Billy sweet nope
Billy sweet strike king has $20 sinnper baits bro
Chris I wanted to say I've been watching your videos the past couple weeks and I love what you're doing. keep it up man!
Thanks dude!! Appreciate the support
Buddy zip tie the skirt and they last forever
Yep. That's the only problem with these. Fix that with a tiny zip tie and they work great.
Great idea!
Blaine Dionisio can confirm
Ya the skirts fall off I got buzz baits and spinner baits from Walmart for a dollar they're bad
Hot Damn! that was an awesome catch! Just think the ones you woulda caught with a trailer hook on that thing.
That's what I'm saying! So many short strikes
to Chris is caught a 6 pound 30" Northern pike on the white and blue one trying to snag a stick.
+Jaylen Hofmaster I ment I caught
Always enjoy watching
Appreciate it my man!
I've got one of these Wal-Mart spinnerbaits in every color they've offered and, for the money, they work great. youre easily becoming my new favorite youtuber. keep up the great content!
Appreciate the love my man!! Glad you enjoy, will do!
I used the black and yellow Walmart spinner on a Canada trip and caught Pike, Smallmouth, Lg. Mouth as well it worked good
They sure have no difficulties catching em!
Those $1 spinnerbaits are surprisingly good. The skirt collars don't last long, but you can replace the skirts, or wrap them with braided line around them and add a dab of super glue. Caught my personal best on the same lure yesterday! Nice catch mate!
great video chris! also, great fish man! that was chucker!
Thanks dude!! She was a biggie
Love the challenges man... you're on the way to being big keep it up👍🏼
Appreciate the support my man!!
They are actually quite nice. Caught 5 pike, 4 bass in two hours and another 3 bass the next day on the same lure with minimal damage. I highly recommend as I think they are a great value .....
That spinner bait SLAYS FISH bro✊💯
I like the Walmart $1 buzzbait lol
I have caught a ton on those. i break them in by holding in high pressure waterhose stream and pinch the keepers on the blade wire to make it squeek a little. good stuff.
try clamping it to a fan on high speed for 8hrs , it will squeak like crazy
I find his weak hook set a bit offesnive
I go to a simmilar lake and always go to bass pro before and buy the cheapest baits. Some end up working. Plus great video!
The bass don't care the price tag, thanks dude!
I've caught plenty of bass and snakeheads on that exact lure. It's an awesome deal. I usually don't even use a trailer
I actually got three of these for my sister as she wanted to start up fishing so i bought her a nice tackle box with an assortment of lures and i actually loaded one of these up on my setup and they are surprisingly not that bad! great video ill be goin to lake barkley soon and a spinner bait is all i will use for a week they produce a lot of fish
Glad I saw this.I have never used any of those cheap spinnerbaits, surprised the wire didn't break after several fish. I have had a Terminator T-1 spinerbait break. I'll have to try some of those cheep ones. Bill in Michigan City.
The cheap one did just fine for me this day!
Love ur videos in the kayak
Thanks dude!!
I've only ever used cheap Walmart lures. They work just fine and when you get stuck on everything in the lake like I do, it doesn't hurt as much when you lose a few

Dane DiStasio try $500 Roman made mothers
They work the same
hunterPRO1 USRSF
Only if it's a bad ass whopper plopper
The only spinner I use is the Walmart $1 spinners. Your fishing it too damn fast
The kayak didn't allow me to fish it slower unfortunately
Chris' Outdoor Adventures how XD
does your walmart have the $1 Buzzbaits too?
Tyler Dunn yeah
Tyler Dunn yeah he said that during the video but they are horrible now back when I was like 5-6 they used to have badass spinner baits and buzz baits
Yup!!
+Chris' Outdoor Adventures 15K subs bro! You're gonna be up there with the Googan Squad in no time!
I'm sure trying!
You Jon B. And Peric were live streaming once and I'm the guy that said. You take mirror selfies lmao. Great video dude. I smacked the sub button.
Hahahahha I remember that!!
Walmart had a bunch of stuff on clearance by me and I picked up 2 of these along with a bunch of other stuff, can't wait until it warms up around here
I think one rod came and pissed em off... Lol I'm crying XD
I have a couple different colors of the Walmart spinnerbaits and they hold up pretty well. no complaints really. the blades don't have near as much action as my KVD but its a solid bait. nice video man
Thanks dude!!
congrats on 15K chris :).
Thanks man!!

flogrown ethan cowboy k
Me too lol

Same 😂
the Walmart 99¢ spinnerbaits are number three on my favorite spinnerbait list. number one is Lures Factory Quiet Storm, and two is the Lures Factory i-spinner
"it's a big it's a really big one oh my god its a huge one"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I had no idea it would catch big ones too lol
If you're from Indiana I can show you a few of my local honey holes. My family owns a farm pond with HUGE bass in it and there is a duck pond that produces a LOT of 2-5 pounders. Great vids.
To keep the skirts up use floss. Btw I have been fishing those lures for years and no difference in fish numbers or quality due to the mint smell, I'm comparing to strike King spinners
I have that same spinner bait from Walmart, haven't caught any Bass on yet but the Pike sure do like it.
Bass love em too!
your lucky the numbers you caught is a great day here in California its hard bass fishing out here unless you got a boat and your on a pattern you know that works for the season and type of day the fishing pressure is so high and the water is clear. we have limited amount of lakes so everyone heavily fishes them year round and even in winter the fish never get a break
I have caught my PB largemouth on those $1 spinner with a twister grub trailer
I use these things all the time, caught 6 1/2 pound bass and several 5ish pounders. They are great for the price. Why you took of the plastic bait when you started casting
Great vid man ,am now subscribed ,keep it up 👍
Thanks dude, appreciate it!
Another awesome vid!!!!
Thanks dude!!
these are amazing lures - for $1 each. have caught many bass on them, some over 5 lb. but the skirts are junk - they fall apart after a few heavy bouts of usage. the blades tend to rust if you don't dry them.
erikhicks07 so do my 5 dollar spinner baits. Gonna switch to all Walmart spinners
nice fall bass I'll have to go get me a1$ spinner bait and try it out go cubs🐻
Go cubbies!!!
Chris' Outdoor Adventures Chris are you going to be doing any hunting video's soon?
Possibly a duck hunting video but I'm not sure!!
Chris' Outdoor Adventures ok great get back to watching the Cubs chris!
the $1.00 buzz bait works really well if you bend the wire down where the blade hits the head i use a 4 inch curly tail trailer ive hooked into plenty of bass on it
Pretty sure you're at lake Santee! Oh my gosh! I live like 10 miles away from the lake!
I get those for my kids. 65# braided line will snug up the skirt and make it last longer. use the white one with a white trick worm on the back (cut 2" off the trick) when you pop the spinner the trick worm will go crazy on the back.
"he's not a big one, but he's doggin' me" LMAO
I love the 1 dollar ones and tip is wrap wire where the rubber band is to hold the skirt on
i've been using that same spinner from walmart all year and i've caught over 200 bass and 3 pike never replaced that spinner.. got a few 8+lber with it it's actually my favorite spinner to use
Just like me, i don't know how many I've caught but its a lot.
That's nuts!!
love the vids man
Thanks !!
great baits man
I just can't get on with kayaks, canoes never seem to give me any problems, do you have a walmart $1 knife to go with that spinnerbait!?
John Smith a decent kayak is the most stable thing I've ever had
Even against my v hull and canoe
I was looking at that same spinner bait today with a couple 1 dollar buzz baits but In pute them back . guess I should have got them o well .
I want to get a kayak, then I watch your vids and change my mind...lol. Just kidding. Nice fish btw!!
Don't let my dumb adventures sway your opinion on kayak fishing lol thanks dude!!
Not surprised at all he's had so much success with them!!
I have used this spinner bait but haven't really cot anything yet. What shall I do? 🤔🤔🤔
I need to grab a couple. I'm good at getting stuck and tearing off baits. Which is why I'm scared to throw my expensive yamamoto spinner lol
amorton94 lol
I grew up on those cheap spinner baits on 6lb mono. caught a 5lber 20inch bass and dozens of pike under 30 inches in them. great lures for the price. gander mountain has nice half ounce spinners for 2 dollars in wisconsin if you want a heavier spinnerbait for cheap.
Thanks for the tip, agree on the value!
these spinnerbaits are actually really good, especially the colorado blade ones. they put off a lot of noise.
I just wish they came in a heavier size!
I LOVE the dollar Walmart spinner baits! Just take some fishing line and tie down the skirt.
Heck yeah! Positive attitude for the win! Man you looked like a Hula girl with that tippy kayak! Keep caching them bruh! So do you like covering water like take three or four casts nothing bites move on until you hook up with a hungry fish or do you feel it out and pick apart each area till you hook up with one?
Thanks dude!! Unless I know it is a high percentage area where I think one should be, I typically move fast until I figure em out!
This past summer I caught my second biggest pike on that exact same spinner in the same color. That day I caught 2 20inchers one 28 and my second biggest a 37in pike. The spinner did not fail me what so ever.
I bet the pike were all over it!
If you happen to come across humdinger spinnerbaits. Pick some up there like 2-3$ but they work. I've used $10 terminator spinnerbaits but the humdinger in my opinion are way better.
I actually hammered a lot of bass on that son of a very color and spinner bait. no trailer hook but I used a blue fleck 2" twist tail grub for trailer
I like those spinner baits. Just pick up a coil of light gauge wire from the hardware store and wrap the skirt to increase durability
Loving all the DIY fixes to this spinnerbait
i cought a biggin on a red one willow leaf...work great.
I've used the black and yellow $1 spinner at walmart with a Colorado leaf on it shockingly caught alot of bass and pike
It doesn't matter the brand of price it matters how it works😂
If you want a kayak you can stand in and is for bass fishing, get a pelican catch 120. Keep fishing and tight lines!
Best buck youve ever spent lol...a touch of super glue will keep that skirt in place...nice vid bud
Great tip, thanks my man
Lake my father was born and raised on for the better part of his childhood. heard a lot about it, but my great grandmother now lives in Greensburg and me and my parents live in a small town about an hour and half from there. Indiana bass, gotta love em'
i'm your 15,000 sub!!! 😊
I appreciate it dude!!
I’ve caught some nice fish off of cheaper lures. I actually have that exact spinner but haven’t used it yet.
Dude I actually have my house on that lake it's the next exit after the Honda factory correct?
The lake is lake santee correct?
Yup it's Santee! Big bass in the lake, very private you're lucky
Chris' Outdoor Adventures do you live in indiana?
I have no clue on were that is but I love up by Gary supposedly good bass up here haven't fished any yet tho
I have the same lure and caught a 28 inch pike on it today
I've bought a few 1$ spinners from Walmart and on my way home one is the shirts broke in the bag with other lures
What kind of reel and line are you using
What reel do you fish with and how much is it?
first video of yours i watched and great job, sub for sure.
Thanks dude, appreciate it!!
You should get a yellow orange and green skirt. It works AMAZING up north
Backwoods Bassin firetiger?
Nice Bass tho , i work at walmart man and I will tell ya straight up I hammer the dollar Spinbaits ! Worth a buck the skirts are wimpy but worthy ! Keep Castin!
defiently a good lure ive caught northern pike n them and they stay good
Sure do!
Cool vid dude🔥💪🏽⚡️
Thanks dude!!
wait when he tried to stand up in the kayak there is one dumb desision
Bass Casters some kayaks are made for fishing and have crazy stability so you can stand up and fish
Yeah but that kayak is NOT meant for fishing isn't crazy stable...
FishinThe501 yeah but the sit inside ones I ain't I found out the hard way with a brand new iPhone 6😂
Definitely a dumb decision lol
i know but that one wasnt
