Even though I don’t bowl anymore, I’ll buy this just for nostalgia reasons. When I was a kid, my favorite Amletto Monacelli threw this ball on TV, and the next week before youth league, I went to the pro shop and purchased one. It was my first resin ball. Brings back some great memories!
Wow! When I switched out of old school urethane into reactive resin thirty-ish years ago, I loved the Teal Rhino and the Purple Rhino! As an old man trying to switch to two-fingers these days, that reissue of the Teal Rhino might be the way to go!
I watched my father and grandfather bowl league in the 90's when I was a kid and EVERYONE was throwing this when it came out. My grandfather has since passed unfortunately, but wait until I show my pops the Teal Rhino is back. I can't wait to finally get a chance to throw this mysepf!
You’re so informative! I’ve been bowling for about 1-2 years but only recently started to take things seriously. I’ve yet to have my own ball yet but I do borrow some of my buddies and try to implement what I learn from your videos and I can tell I’m already getting a bit better, Thanks a lot! 🙌
Man, that ball takes me back. I bowled with a grey & a pearl Rhino. Got into a league that gave us a Rhino Pro at the end when those first came out. Loved my purple Rhino Pro.
I loved my original Teal Rhino Pro I shot a 300 game with it and backed it up with a 277 second game during league for a 788 series and I still have it today as a keep sake ball.
@@TheHouseBowling That’s how all premium balls used to be made back in the day. Now, we only get that once in a blue moon, and it’s almost always on remakes/reissues like the Quantums.
Of all the new balls coming out, this is the one I am most excited to throw. I had a pearl Rhino Pro in my previous bowling life and it crushed the pocket. I am using the Innovator solid as my lead ball, but this will work well out of the bag for games 2 though 4 as the lanes transition so quickly.
My father inlaw who started bowling again last year after 9ish Yeats just like me. Wad talking about this ball and how much of a beast it was and how he wishes he still had it. His birthday is August looks like a good birthday gift.
So cool they're bringing back so many old school balls that I grew up throwing in juniors! In my bag right now for the PBA50 regional Fri is a purple Rhino Pro as we're bowling on the 42' Roth pattern. We'll c what it does at the practice session Thurs. 😎
I have the original to this ball my grandpas used it my entire life and for the last ten years I've been using it along with my grandpas shoes I've been bowling since 4 been in kids leagues on the school bowling team and I gotta say this rino has never let me down I don't have a crazy rev when I throw and usually it'll get into the pocket like I want it too
awesome- I remember seeing those back in the day and wanted one. All my balls broke in half---due to the heat here in arizona. VERY disappointing. I left them in the trunk, went bowling, all 4 in my roller were in pieces, and the 2 in my bag too. so now I need a new ball. AND I want the pin! Love the videos. all of them.
Im gettting KINGPIN vibes. Love the old Rhino balls. In my center back in the mid 00's there was tons of donated balls mixed in with the house balls for open play and I swear there was an old school green Rhino.
Woah. Haven't seen a Rhino Pro in about 30 yrs. When I was in youth league, I always wanted a Rhino Pro, but never got the chance to get one. Glad it's made a comeback.
What’s up Packy I’ve been a subscriber for a little over a year now and I just signed up for the pin giveaway! Also love your review on the new Rhino Pro awesome stuff man keep it up!
I prefer STORM but as a Bowler you need to know all Ball Company's Equipment. My opinion your approach is SAUCE. Your Vids are one of my GO'TOO's for intel on Brunswick Equipment. Great Job. Seems you feel obligated to inform thats GREAT.👏
I'm a single dad of 2 little guys struggling. So I'm not sure I'll be able to get anything new my friend. Love watching your videos, keep up the good work. Look forward to your vids buddy.
Loved the rhino pro X the decade of dominance back in late 90's. That ball by Brunswick should have already been remade in my opinion. I believe it was one of the best bowling balls ever made!
I threw the original Teal back in the day, pretty much only throw Storm, Global, Roto now, but it does bring back Memories. Oh P.s my first 300 in 1992 was with, Yes the Blue Hammer!
Hey Packy. I wanted to let you know that I opted in to the doubles at the PBA LBC OPEN. With you as my "partner". I'm bowling on the 15th. Hopefully I can put up a big number.
@@TheHouseBowling Had one as a youth, especially around when PB3 was smashing pins with it. Already pre-ordered, so I can’t wait to get it in a couple of weeks.
i was gonna get my first ball but it seems like there are exciting releases coming out like this and the vibe radioactive! would it be a good setup if i had this as my heavy/medium oil games and the vibe for light/medium? or as a beginner should i be looking at other balls
I would say as a beginner this or the radioactive vibe would both be perfect! Both these balls fit into the middle of any arsenal and a great starting point for beginners!
my 1st ball as a teen was a Don Carter performance a plastic ball from K-mart. my 1st grown up ball was the AMF black Angle. I prolly used that way too long then my next was the Teal rhino, followed by a Columbia 300 Cuda. I have not bowled in along time so don't have any of the newer balls.
I threw one of the originals a few years back. It was not a ball to run away in a block with, it was a training device to keep you honest. If you got around it, grabbed it, or did something else at release, it would not end up in the pocket, and a puddle in front of the head pin was like teflon to it. Pull this out on a pair after someone on your side of the lane has thrown purple hammers and you'll be pissed lol
@@silversilent How many frames with the PH first? I can throw at least four games with plastic and pull out a super Cuda/C (not the silly rebrand with the power torq cover) and it still does a fish hook down lane.
Man if they gave us a 3-ball Rhino arsenal with a modified urethane OG Rhino, this, and then a re-issued Gold Rhino Pro as a more aggressive option, it could be amazing.
Love the balls....HATE what they're doing to North Rock. I worked there back in the late 80's early 90's and threw the Teal in that house. I'm so bummed what Bowlero is doing to an ICONIC center. I was sitting right behind Aulby when he shot 300 vs Ozio all those years ago.
For me when I talk about pacing it's off an average of 20 per frame so being on a turkey then go spare puts you in the 2 teens. Strike spare the rest out the way for 2 teen
Seeing a Rhino Pro just takes me back full of memories growing up bowling in the 90s. Man that makes me feel old.

I threw my first 300 with the Rhino Pro Teal back in the 90's. Brunswick! Please bring back the Rhino Pro Steel!!!!
I love Shaq diesel lurking in the background. Wonder what his rev rate would be as a 2 hander?
A million minimum hahahah
All the bowlers that had one of these when I was a kid, I thought they were the coolest and best bowlers. I need one!
It should be mentioned that like the original, this is a two piece ball. No filler. That’s why it hits so hard.
Wil be buying one
2 Piece in 15 and 16 Lbs.
No filler at all which is crazy!

So is the Rhino rated for light-medium or medium- heavy oil?
Im wondering if this will be the ball to go to now with the new urethane rules for pba events
i had the red Rhino 35 years ago and i went from a 130 average to a 201 with that rhino.
