- A kayak float on the Lower Salt River near Mesa, Arizona on July 15, 2024. The flow was 1,340 cubic feet per second. We decided to try going to the left of the little island in the left channel at Coon Bluff to try bypassing the overhanging tree. We saw numerous wild horses this time.
