I’m starting to feel like Desus is carrying the whole show. I don’t know if the money is becoming the root of Mero’s inaptitude to his comedic sense but it feels forced. These dudes use to have me dying of laughing but now Mero makes me cringe 😩
Mero can be over the top and almost too goofy sometimes, but I find that when his jokes land, they tend to be funnier than anything Desus would have said that whole segment. But, yeah, I wish Mero would turn it down a notch. I've been saying that since Viceland.

Never thought I would say it but Viceland Desus and Mero were much better than Showtime Desus and Mero, especially the commentary on the videos. The guests on Viceland were better; on Showtime they had Elizabeth Warren and Oprah's best friend...man, if I didn't want to watch Gayle on daytime TV, why would I hell would I want to watch her on a late night comedy show? Also, Elizabeth Warren?! Are you kidding me? Do you think Warren fits D&M's demographic? On Viceland, they had cool guest like Deontay WIlder, Awkafina, etc. Plus, this season was way to short; they had like 2shows. The only thing that got better were the skits...but I'm still gonna cancel my Showtime subscription, because sh*t ain't worth it.
