use the road curve which was created by gis and watch a tutorial on how to make road in blender with curves. I hope this helped

I don't think this still works. I've tried repeatedly and I don't understand what I'm missing. The texture stretched I assume and doesn't apply properly to the individual building I have in a more rural town. Everytging becomes green too. Can you make a updated video please? I tried just changing the texture of one roof and that didn't even work. I'm using blender gis plugin too

thats because it's not properly aligned with the buildings in his UV editor. he pretty much had roads and other sorts projected onto his roofs lol

No, it will take mins. if you understand how blender works :)
for the texturing gop find the lazy tutorials on youtube. THis method on this video will take .....horrednous amount of time unlike the way lazytutorial his way is to just project and image from google of the city you are actually mimicking and will provide way more realistic results.
