Even though this video and song is one of my favorites of theirs, you won't hear them ever do it live. When this video was released there was such a backlash on the guys, but mostly on R.M. since he wrote the song. The Korean Netizens (general fanbase name) called it misogynistic. Which really made R.M. question himself. He didn't want to be thought of as misogynistic. In an interview he mentioned that now he actually talks to a women's group as well as a physiologist in regards to his lyrics when it comes to women...one of the things he hates is offended anyone. The international fans from what I remember loved it and tried to reassure him that it was a good song, but that is what he does now.
I personally love the whole concept, song, and appearance of everything they did for it. It is an honest look of how guys deal with the "War". You should also check out the non Halloween version of the dance practice of this song. But make sure you watch "War of Harmone" dance practice "Bangtan Bomb" version. I promise u will laugh so hard watching it.
One last request for you. Please check another "Bangtan Bomb" for "It's Tricky." And yes the Run DMC song "It's Tricky". In 2014 or 15...they did a Christmas performance and that was the song the preformed to...u won't regret it, promise. Thanks for all your reactions...hoping to see ur reaction to "It's Tricky" soon.
Just letting you know, it wasn't when it got released, it was after, like around 2015~2016, haters, mostly kpoppies, started calling misogynistic after BTS was getting popular, I was there at the time, it was really fucked up, especially because the song it's a fun "critic" to (straight)boys behaviors towards women throughout puberty.
People twisted the whole song when just one line was actually a bit bad worded: "women are like an equation, men just do (solve) them".
Not only international but almost all the ARMYs tried to reassure him and comfort him at the time, nobody actually thought of the lyrics in a bad way before, that's the worst part.
So happy you finally reacted to this. I had mentioned this to you bunches of times and I know you would really like it because of what they're talking about and how it's all about male hormones

Apparently this song (and some others of around the same time) caused some controversy because both the lyrics and video could be thought as objectifying women. RM being RM got all worried about it and from then on they send their lyrics to experts in Gender Studies to avoid this kind of issues.
They were accused by misogyny by haters. People are dumb not to realize that they are young boys & the song is age-appropriate. Everywhere else other artists were doing worst shit and nevee got called out.
Marina Cuello I understand the problem with the lyrics, it’s not the best choice of words for a song but as you watch the video and everything, you can tell that they were really trying to praise the girls. They weren’t very fortunate but the intention was very innocent, the video itself is very innocent and fun. It’s cute

BTS has not had a bad era. Their 2013 music is as hot as their 2919 music ..... they are just older now. Although they were so young in the beginning, their music, performances and character was well beyond their years. They have grown up well.

I loooove war of hormone. Love the song and video. They dont do this song now as RM was young when he wrote it and he got loads of negative comments because of the lyrics. He was very careful after this video but it is still one of my all time favourites just for the fun energy.
