Duha has been making these for trucks for a long time, and cheaper. Plus, they don't go all the way to the floor, they are a flat bottom box that sits above the wheel well. and can be removed. I think more flexible options and better bang for less buck.

Ill tell you what I had several Rams before my Superduty, and the ram boxes were one of the most missed features when I got a truck without them. I currently have swing cases on both sides and they are a good alternative to the ram boxes, they swing out to the tailgate for easy access, they are lockable and weather resistant, fit under my hard rolling cover without issue, and are easily removable.
The swing case is nice, but I wish it pulled out and didn’t swing. When I’m full with camping gear it’s a pain to get to the cases. I either have to unload half the truck or climb up and fight the lid cause the tonneau bracket prevents it from opening 90 degrees.
I went from a RAM too. Really missed the boxes, but a Diamondback bedcover and toolbox set with a bedslide turned out to be a pretty good alternative.

Thanks for the video. The cases are nice. I have a cab high cap and as I start my 8th decade I don't crawl into to bed unless I absolutely have to. A long stick with a hook is as handy as a pocket on a shirt 🤣. I went with the sidewall mounted swing out style of bed storage locker. If I was your age, I might reconsider. I can see some utility in the length. Fishing rods or a rifle perhaps?

Those look pretty sweet. I like that they take up that 'un-usable' space over the wheel wells. Ive seen the other ones that go in that space but they swing out to the back on a hinge, also pretty cool.
Thank for skipping over the impacting sounds, it does make a difference man. Sometimes that sound comes across from your mic to speakers really loudly. Its something that some may not notice but it helps make a much better quality video for us. Thanx again man!

I'd love to see a watertank with a similar form factor.
Interesting idea...probably will not fit with a retrax roll up tonneau cover (or similar) due to roll up canister being in bed...also not sure about giving up that much bed space "permanently". As for me I have opted for a set of tough built stack tech boxes...that I can lock, tether and easily remove when needed.
...you still can put a 4x8 sheet of ply wood and still load an atv in there....

Curious if the short bed model would fit in a long bed.. I have a F450 long bed but have fuel tank/tool box in the front of the bed. Like your channe!!
Thanks pal. I think for the long bed the hold downs are farther apart.
There's 2 sizes.. One for each bed size
PSA they come as a set, drivers and passengers sides. Both sides are different and cannot be swapped because the cable locks are on the tailgate side of each box and the mounting points are offset from the center of the box.

One thing I don’t understand is why they have the “locking” cables, the boxes are bolted in and are not quick release or quick removable. So why the cable, if someone is stealing the box they would just unclip the cable once they remove the bolts 😂.

Just FYI they are not listed for 17-22s however it does look like they fit in 2020. So who knows.

I've been looking for something for side storage, and the only thing I've found are the swing out cases, which are on the small side, and molle panels which for the F-250 are four small panels not the whole length of the bed

Nope, I refuse to spend $1,640.00 for just. Still I wouldn't even if they offered it as a set of two. Based on other plastic accessory boxes, one shouldn't expect to pay anything over 400 per unit.

A lot of guys are asking that too....
The manufacturers have a lot of hoops to jump through to become a "genuine" accessory.. I'm sure someone came up with the idea in their crash testing.
If I'm in a wreck that bad, I'll have other things I'm worried about

They seem pretty cool as long as you don't load something big because then you can't open them and you have to jump into the bed every time you want to get something from them. Definitely not worth $1600.

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod you keep typing that in every comment. There's more stuff to load than 4'x8' sheets. Hopefully you only need to carry 1-2 sheets because anymore or anything bigger and they won't open. Hopefully you got them for free because they need to lower the price on them.

Undercover swing case are better and cheaper applications than this, and you don't lose bed space or your cover or your bed mat. You don't have to climb in the bed to access and they lock and swing out to access.
Didn't loose any of that. Them swing cases look goofy asf anyway

Only bad about swing cases, is driver side covers the 5er plug. So I have to leave mine open and bungee it in place on that side while towing my camper

The Decked systems are great but I have to have access to my gooseneck ball. And sometimes the Decked system takes up too much space under my tonneau cover
