Thank you. I have been searching for an answer if the Bramhashtan can be at lower level than surounding floor. You have precisely answered that.
Many older homes in south india used to have open central part of the home and generally this area is kept lower for rain water collection. But I was not sure what the effects of such arrangement.

Suppose the plot area is 60*60
And built up area is 45*40 then we will calculate bramhsthan for 45*40 or 60*60 ??

Mam newly under-construction ghar me brahmathan ka size 9.8 x 19.8 sqft hai. Ghar ka main door and wall brahmsthan ki perimeter me 11 inch tak aa rhe hai. Mam please btaye ki ye sahi hai ya nahi. 🙏🙏
