Yeah but . . . are getting more of this in the future? . . .
Your stuff has been helping me relax when I'm having really heavy insomnia . . . to the point of not being able to sleep for several days . . . and your ambient works have been helping me for a while now . . . can you put out new relaxing stuff in the future please . . .
That Song made me reflect on the Realities and Fragility of being Human, Made me think about the Messiah and my belief In the Resurrection, great sound and creativity, very nice mate.
Andy please tell me how you’re playing some melodies with effects and others clean at the same time? Are you playing through 2 amps or is it your looper? Looking for a friend
Please make a video on how to make this ambient sound
Give me a distortion and i'll be playing all night...
But give me a reverb on clean and i'll play forever
❤
Give me a delay and I'll play after death
@@orchidmalevolence9726 give me a orchestra and ill become immortal.
@@Colosphonium dude, can I play ambient sounds through any guitar? Like I have squier hss strat, using pedals will give me great ambient sounds?
@@vaibhavsati538 doesnt matter. just needs to be able to play lol.
I close my eyes and see my Mom and Sister ... who passed away five years ago ... only 19 days apart; Mom on the 10th of December and Sister on the 29th. I could see them walking hand in hand together ... along the streets of gold ... no pain, no fear - just pure joy, peace, and full of God's glory!
May Allah accept them in his Garden. I can feel your pain. Time has just stopped since my Mother passed away suddenly on 14th January 2021. When your family members depart from this earth, they just take away a part of you with them. I don’t know if I can see her again. I can just hope.
@@fakhrulislamjewel7120 Candle lit for you. I wish you well.
@@danbrooks5370 So kind of you 💚 Prayers for you & your family...

Ummmm….ah nm
There is something special about instrumentals like this. There are no set lyrics. No set directions. Just the music and you. You make the song, you make the memories, you make it yours. A few simple notes, a thousand different songs. If you are reading this, just know that Im here with you. We can make it. All the hard times and the pain you faced, you survived! And we are going to be alright. I love you ♥️.
This was my first approach to music, now I've been practicing instruments but I'm hoping to get into his again, I just wish I could listen realtime since I cannot plug in my instrument haha, but I'm hoping to create some cool stuff hopefully this year again!
I love you too ❤🔥 And thank you.
What a wonderful comment
❤ love you too, we've got this!!
This is like AMSR of guitar.
my financial circumstances + this video = slepless nights.
+NissanDriver15 something tells me you drive a Nissan. I wonder what...
+Ahmad Ilyas You`re sick mate!!! How did you knew that :P
+Ahmad Ilyas bro something near to it can be achieved using a multi effects. or Guitar Rig 5 will require immense tweaking - difficult but achievable. :)
+Ahmad Ilyas financial circumstances + this video+lack of talent
+Band NV Yes indeed, but the vibe and feel of stompboxes and amps are unparalleled. It's like wiping your ass with silk...
This is the ambient piece of music that got me into ambient music.
Thanks man.
X2
same damn
same much respect
True
Huh same here man 😅
Honestly this is just inspiring man I can't stop listening to it.
People always say to me
You play so slow you play basic, I say
You have to make the music talk to you, you have to make it tell the story
You have to make people lost in the sound
It has to sound and feel good
💙
my mom didnt sign the papers for this feels trip
Permission slip*
There are people who shred and and just kill it on guitar and then there are people who make it sound so much bigger and beautiful. This is absolutely amazing and my favorite style. The day there is no more music like this is the day I give up music. Great job man, brought a tear to my eye.
I have serious pedal envy going on right now
Caleb Owens right there with you. My pedal board consists of a few pedals and an M13 which I still don't know fully how to use lol. It's good for ambient but nothing like this.
I have 1 tubescreamer. :')
i have a 1 zoom g3x and that's all, folks
I also have this... But, this kind of ambience is not possible to recreate only with this unit...
I have an overdrive and a boss dd7, I am considering zoom g5n. What else would I need? Is zoom a good idea? I want to play post-rock, ambient, vintage things (+ my synthesizer, kurzweil)
In a mind full of chaos, this echos memories of calmer days.
Perfect words mate

I found this song about 6 years ago and became an instant fan. I don't normally comment or interact with videos but this one.....
I keep coming back to this song. I don't know why but every time I hear it, it just make me feel better.
It gives clarity when I need it whether I realize I need it or not.
Andy, Thank you for creating this masterpiece.
You've unknowingly helped me through some of the most difficult times in my life and helped me make some of my most important life decisions.
This song and Ambient Song #20 are my go tos when I need to think and figure life out.
Thank you.
8 years this is still my favorite loop. I remember hearing it and running out to buy up pedals. It's been a good time ever since.
This helps my anxiety. Thank you.

I think I’ve listen to this thousand times. It’s so perfect.
There's something about this song that makes me come back to it every time. A long lost love... it's heartbreaking.
Same here dude I’m in school sitting by my self in the corner just drifting away slowly
Absolutely same here, there’s just something about it that hits home in the right way…
This is real pedal work, not just chaining together random effects, my dad had been obsessed with reverb for years and now I understand why :O
Naaah
I've been learning it's okay to let myself cry, this song helped me reflect on some old wounds, and helped me accept what they are, things that happened in the past.
The best thing RUclips recommend me ever
For a guitar player like myself, one of the most inspiring videos ever. Utter beauty. You make me want to dust off my recording gear and create again. Many thanks, and keep the music coming!

I've listened to this work of art for years now after my brother showed it to me. It conjures so many beautiful memories of our childhood, but tinged with an almost heartbreaking level of reminiscence. We're nearing our thirties with kids of our own and it's only now I realise how quickly that time goes by. This song makes me yearn for those carefree days so intensely. This is the soundtrack of shadows playing in my mind that are so real but just out of reach. Thankyou for keeping them alive.
Ben Joyce keep remembering
You write well
That hits deep.
So relaxing and dreamy but, at the same time it fills me with sorrow...
It's strange how something musical can conjure childhood memories you wish you could return to but know you never will, I'm so glad you wrote this as I fear without this song I wouldn't have remembered these memories and likely would have forgotten over time, thank you!
Well said. Very true.
Listen. To. Aquatic. Ambiance. Now.
Strongest Comment 👍
Said true brother.. i had an epic nostalgia after hearing this i've had a great childhood..
A gift.
Makes me remember my dad who passed recently. It still feels pretty fresh to me, this really helped me remember so many good memories. He also would’ve loved this

Playing this for patients in my acupuncture clinic right now. Beautiful man. Thanks!
❤️
This is sad. This brought tears to my eyes man. This is some serious humanly spiritual shit. I love this.
can't agree more, this could be in a movie as a good ass soundtrack.
It's a lot like Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who did the Patriots Day soundtrack; full of ambient drones and stuff like this.
Dzimka Bujiashvili almost made me cry
can't agree more
I do some riffs like that when I'm feeling sad... This type of ambient song brings me back some good and bad memories at the same time!
😔
Sounds like something off a Sigur Ros album. Absolutely wonderful 👏🏼
I'm using it in my devotional time. Thanks! God bless u.
doing that right now aswell

Awesome! God is good!
I was backsliding for a while. But God brought me back and I listened to this while reading his word, crying over the goodness of God toward me, despite my foolishness

I have been freaking looking for this style of music everywhere and found finally found it. This is some of the best music to study to and fall asleep to. Hope you make one that is several hours long, loop it if you can. Just make sure you put in the header…the best music for focus, study or fall asleep to. Helps people with adhd also.
This made me cry.... Thank you Andy! Don't change! keep making magic!
Thanks so much for watching/listening
8 years later and I still absolutely love this video. So good!
This reminds me of the peaceful moments in existence. The ones where you realize everything is going to be okay in the end, no matter how scary or dark or painful they've been. No matter how doomed everyone might tell you it all is.
You just know, within.
And you're okay.
This is amazing. I love music that evokes emotion so powerfully that tears begin to fall.
Im not sobbing or weeping. But listening sort of in a trance and i can feel tears building up. This is absolutely beautiful. I want to learn how to create this type of music
Welcome to the guitar community and good luck!
Hes so amazing
Music brought dimensa patients out of the fog.
Frequency has a lot to do with it i think, amazing how it effects our minds, if you start looking into it, your find out we're all energy vibration frequency in the end.
@@shamrock245 Very true.
I close my eyes listening to this, and i literally see my old man smiling at me from afar!, sorry that i couldn't be there when you took your last breath dad...i miss you so much!!
I’m so sorry for your loss. So touching to see how much you love him and miss him. Both of my parents have passed now and I miss them so much. God bless you.
Lost my dad recently too, it’s been the hardest and most confusing time of my life
My Dad came to me about a year after he died. It was the second greatest gift he ever gave me. The first was what the lesson he taught me as I stood weeping over him on his deathbed.
woah. that really hit me.
😔 keep going and fighting
I find my way back to this piece again and again over the last 7 years and in all honesty, this has been a defining piece of what peace and calm can sound like, let alone the memories this track brings to mind.
Thank you Andy for impacting so many people whether you realized it or not. =)
I come back too🙏🏼 I need it to help me through…
At last, someone else can hear the music I have always heard in my head in that space between not being asleep, and not being awake. It is 'SO' beautiful, I cried like a little girl. Great job!
...and just like that, for 9 minutes, everything was ok in the world.
You were a big inspire to me, the world needs more musicians like you, this is pure emotion
Somebody ask this guy to do a movie soundtrack already! ;)
Andy should have been given the Blade Runner 2049 score gig.
ditto
ha! soudns like interstellar ! agree totaly!
I do it
Club Soda ambient guitarists rarely date :-( ;-)
My favorite part is at the end when he literally abandons the guitar and is like "Okay I'm playing pedal now."
As i move reflect on the last 48 hrs of my life experiencing a 2nd miscarriage i can't help get a sense of calmness and rest in my heart from hearing this beautiful music. I was hoping to teach my child music as the grew and watch then blossom into something mesmerizing and talented if thats the path they chose to keep going on. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting this here. I hope you get all you want from the music you write and play
May God Bless You! Keep your head up okay? Everything will be fine❤️I think us as humans should always be there for each other no matter the situation! I will be praying for you!
Every ending is a beginning
That is like floating in the space, all the reverbs and delays are the stars, and I like to stay in this place in my mind. Greeting from Italy!

How melancholic it is to be very emotional and with songs of few solos, all beautiful memories come to mind of those days that will remain in your memory forever.
:(
This was used in the intro to CBC’s “Twinning Effect”! I heard it, and I was like “Wait...I know this!”
incredible, started playing guitar for some time, I hope one day make a sound like you; God bless your gift ... big hug from Brazil
Finally my long search is over... I have been trying to find the sound I want on my songs... literally for years (I'm just a girl and a guitar) and had NO IDEA it was guitar pedals that would be my salvation!! Now all I need is the cash for the pedals and my song sounds can be born. Thanks so much Andy, I have been glued to your vids on ambient guitar and hey 22 is my lucky number, whatd'yaknow!!
Glad to come back after all these years, this playlist was the theme from my past. Bring back so many good memories. Thx Andy
This is 5 years old, and it still moves me to the core every time I hear it. You've done something truly special here Andy, God Bless!
When listening to this..I imagine myself on top of a high hill.. under the shimering light of the moon.. looking towards the ocean.. while the gentle breeze blowing.. white the sound of the waves and the swaying of the trees..
Control of the instrument, the delays, the verbs, the loop recording and playback
I feel its somewhat happen chance but more so knowing your gear and being in control of not just the instruments but the machines as well.
Very very well done😎
Still one of my favorite videos in 2022! I remember when I first got into playing worship music and this video inspired me. I went and bought all the pedals I thought I needed to play this style, to this day still one of my favorite sounds.
That's what emotional healing sounds like!?

Beautiful! ❤
This is beautiful!
When it comes to those moments when there are no words and just music for the soul
This is by far one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard.
I’ve come back so many times to this channel for this song. Thank you Andy!❤❤❤
Your reverb settings are just perfect. Somehow you were able to create loud but silent and peaceful sounds at the same time.

This is the song that inspired me to pick up the guitar again and fall into playing soupy reverbs and delays
Thank you. Thank you so much for playing this kind of music.
Those swells with the slide were fantastic. What a beautiful soundscape!
Andy, I'm watching this video of yours long after it was uploaded. But this has to be my new favorite piece from you. It's so full of emotion, if you let your mind wander it feels like this song was created to perfectly fit a sorrowful feeling that you may be feeling. At least it feels that way for me right now. I'm not typically one to look up "sad music" when I'm feeling down, but this track feels "right" for my current mood. Thank you.
sort of sounds like a song by explosions in the sky
Lately Explosions has been making allot of... "eploxsy" I wish they could do more songs like "What do you go home to?" It's a shame because that's what I eneded up loving about that band.
I thought I was hearing Explosions as well!
Which song. Send a link. Idk the band but im recently getting into writing stuff like this and im looking for more inspiration

I don't know. But I'm about to cry unstoppably. The song feels like letting your guard down and letting all those emotions flow in the emotion river. This is how music should be in my honest opinion
This is so beauty... Thank you🙏
