Wait, this isn’t See Through Scopes
For real See Through Scopes is the GOAT of Fallout mods
Am I missing something? I find that mod annoying. Trying to snipe with that mod sucks. The scope jumps all over the place and is inaccurate. The only good part about it is that it skips that annoying fade to black sequence every time you aim. But then it just sucks. Do I have it installed wrong or something?
@@Little_Milk120 If the scopes are not aligned properly for you, yeah, probably
i can't live without it, the VAFS Redux. Also the +35% sniper damage increase.
For a true sniper build, instead of a bolt-action with .50 ammo having almost the same damage of a semi auto .45 combat rifle, they do actual .50 sniper damage. And its totally balanced cause its pretty much a fix
@@Little_Milk120 You can use the holotape that comes with it to reduce the scope jiggling as much as you want. Or hold E to hold your breath and make it stable. I wouldn't remove it cause that's a feature in almost every shooting game, but you can do it
Just when you're out, they find a way to pull ya back in...
fr
"they" being modders. I'm still a little salty at how insubstantial the official DLCs feel.
Sim Settlements was the very best mod before SSII...so I am excited! New play thru time! Thanks Juicy!
Okay, I was close to calling click bait if this was anything other than SS2.
WARS maybe, if it ever released?
I just bought a gaming PC so I am excited.
Welcome to the pc world! Modding is a ton of fun on pc so go crazy man
Congratulations!! I'm not a console hater, but I wish they would realize how much better just breaking down and getting a computer really is. I used to play skyrim on my little i3 with like 90gbs of space and NO graphics card, it wasn't that expensive (it was a display model, cuz I was desperate to get one too) you don't need to spend a lot of money on a computer to enjoy them.
Anyway, sorry lol I hope you enjoy the absolute plethora of mods you've opened yourself up to. I guarantee in a couple weeks you're gonna max out your active plugins list like the rest of us, make sure to use Mod Organizer 2!!
I went from console to pc and it really is a change! Just make sure how to figure out how mods work otherwise your going to shitface the game like me..
You'll have tons of fun finding and downloading mods, and eventually spending more time trying to figure out which one out of the thousand mods is causing the compatibility issue. Eventually, you'll spend all your time looking for and downloading/fixing mods instead of playing the game. Lol welcome to the PC master race. Get good with mouse and keyboard because that controller you have is for game like GTA.
@@commoncents7330 OMFG SAME DUDE!!! I've been spending WEEKS switching my fallout 4 mods from NMM to Mod Organizer 2 UGH it's fucking torture!!
Wouldn’t saying “it feels like it was made by Bethesda” be an insult to the mod?
Well there are the people in Bethesda who makes a great game, and then there are those barging their way in wanting to add a power armor vs Deathclaw fight.
If feels like Bethesda made because of all the CTDs glitches that this mod has.
Stfu and take my like
The shade is real 😂🤣😂🤣😂
The first thing i am doing when i finally get my hands on an Xbox Series X is downloading Sim Settlements 2, i have been seething with jealousy for years on my PS4 watching all this cool stuff pass me by.
Same
Me: wow, the mod is actually on Xbox, maybe I should download it.
The mod: is literally a gigabyte
Me with an already full mod list: well, I guess not.
Same 😭
Just play pc and keep downloading mods until your hardrive fills up
Us PC players often end up with a similar issue, it comes down to harddrive space for us.... I've had to play a game of storage space Jenga continuously
On a positive note, the Sim Settlements team often optimizes a mod's file size overtime, especially for xbox players. I don't know for sure if it's possible here, but over the next several months the mod's size may decrease, or have more content and not increase in size too much
I would happily drop mods to have SSh. The main reason I play fallout on pc is for the script extender. Horizon mod lol
Literally just done that 😭
I’m going to start a new playthrough with this mod when I get home.
Some things never change no matter what the mod is - grass will still grow through the floors of your buildings (17:25 and other times in the video). Grass, grass never changes...
sts a good mod to scrap that
GRASS... GRASS NEVER CHANGES 💀
bro I'm ded.
@@parkhall4037 What is sts?
@@Kefka. Scran That Settlement
I noticed that Aiden from Conqueror has turned up in SS2, might make it interesting when Conqueror2 gets it's release down the track
Wait wut!?
Well they did say they are redoing the add on packs
@@silentwatcher4883 Yep and from the way KingGath was talking it seems they will be brought under the same overreaching story line
Anyone know when conqueror 2 comes out?
@@nickcarriero8274 Not for a long time Mate, They are getting SS2 sorted first then will start rolling it over to the new set-up. 12 months easy I would say
Just because I know people are going to ask, no the add ons for ss1 don't work with 2, no the saves from ss1 won't work with ss2 and yes, the content from those official ss1 add ons are coming to ss2 including conqueror. In fact certain characters from the old add ons exist in this new version of ss.
So...when Im running SimSettlement 1 on my game and I want to switch to SimSettlement 2 ..... I habe to deinstall SS1 and start a new game. Right? (thx for help)
@@throdwobblermangrove6200 basically, yeah. They put a pinned post on nexus to not use them together
Ah well, goodbye level 100 character with 15 fully built settlements with SS1
“Certain AAA game companies”
We know what you mean *cough cough Bethesda*
he sort of praises beth imo? Keeps saying this content is on par with official bethesda, but bethesda has never released anything great. Just the sandboxes for people to make great things.
@@Tetsaga Bethesda has NEVER released a single great game? Ok 👍
This mod has blown me away. So much work and detail, it’s a outstanding!
The developers of Sim Settlements are probably capable of creating their own phenomenal city building rpg.
I've already finished Chapter 1 and let me tell you this Mod is very well detailed and crafted. Few crashes and bugs here and there but that's to be expected with a Mod of this caliber. I hope Kinggath and his team put out future Chapters soon.
I just want my settlements to be lived-in without me building things
1:41 What a... what where you doing there?
Killing that settler after he said "People have to sleep in shifts. It's making everyone cranky."
There's a new bed available now! :D
@@joebenzz I spat out my drink when I saw it
I've never tried the simsettlements mod because I always liked building the settlements myself, but now I'm wondering if I should... I didn't realize how in depth it was.
Me too
that clip of juicehead just wailing on that bloatfly and failing is hilarious and totally all of us.
Not gonna lie but SS2 was so glitchy that my main quest broke.
Kinggath and the team are working really hard at patching bugs at the moment. We are getting daily updates.
Too bad i dont have the space for it i wish they would add more space for mods on xbox
I agree
I 100% agree. We should be allowed to opt to use space as we see fit. I do not own that many games on xbox.. i have several hundred GB available that I could use to download mods if they would just unlock the stupid option.
The team behind SS2 would like that too I bet, also that terrible 1g limit on mods for Xbox Ugh why Microsoft you have the cash remove it.
Maybe the cap will increase or be removed with Bethesda being owned by Microsoft in the near future. Hopefully.
@@hhjk377 i doubt it
HE ALREADY ITS MY FAVORITE FALLOUT 4 CHARACTER, im sory for de cap, its just SO EXITING
Really appreciate your passion for mods! You’re the best!
Sir, I've been binge watching the channel for a few days, keep up the good work.
currently working through the start of this too, waiting on settlers to finish housing. Guessing cus I chose Sanctuary Hills it may be counting Preston though, so, y'know, that'll be fun.
Another mod video. Glad to see you review more Fallout 4 mods. Although I wish you did a week of Fallout New Vegas mods. But i guess that's just me. Cant wait to see what you post next
12:02 soo it’s like Sim Settlements meets fallout shelter? Sounds nifty now all I need to do is make some room in my Load Order 😂
nice and smooth gameplay been trying to fix my load order for my mods in fallout 4 and my game is still really laggy but luckily i havent had too many crashes only once in a while
Question: Is "Sim Settlements - Conqueror" also integrated into "Sim Settlements 2" or will it come later as a DLC for the mod like in "Sim Settlements 1"?
Beautiful mod review. Thanks Juicer.
i love how hes still making videos in 2020. i only just bought fallout 4 goty a few months ago and loved it and didnt understand why nobody else played
JuiceHead, If your Sim Settlements icons are turning up in the Special Category then you may want to have a look at installing Settlement Menu Manager.
Thanks for the video.
The mod is indeed amazing.
While I am not thrilled about missing some of my favorite plots from old SS1 content, I can say I am very excited about the new mod's story lines (and the ability to bypass it if already done once) and all the new features and enhancements.
I’m in the middle of a play through right now, using Sim Settlements one, after this I will start a new game with Sim Settlements 2, as the mod requires a new game to work. But I can’t wait and I love this so much.
I wish xbox one had more than 2gb of mod storage. Hopefully series x has more storage for mods now that Microsoft own bethesda.
Please! I'd kill for more mod space
@@GOGtribute I would pay a reasonable fee for mod space.
@@KefkeWren not monthly, but yes
Just started a new playthrough yesterday, haven't even found my first settlement yet. This will do nicely...
How easy is it to install and use SS2 on an already heavily molded playthrough? I've been wanting to do sim settlements for a while but it always seemed so convoluted. Like does SS2 have EVERYTHING ever released for SS including all the patches or do you still need to install all the patches separately? And i use alot of building mods, will that be a problem?
The original sim settlements was amazing. It became such a staple of my load order that when I finally got the steam version this month I absolutely had to download the sequel.
This mod made me buy fallout once again... the mod is really that good. It feels like it belongs in the game. Very immersive.
Someone needs to @ Phil with this mod and ask for more Xbox mod space. He’s such a fan of gaming I’d love to see his response.
Well the reason why the space is so limited is for performance’s sake. Hopefully the Series X will have greater space what with it essentially being a low-to-mid tier gaming PC in terms of power.
Do you reckon all (most?) of the addons for Sim Settlements 1 will be moved over to #2? I really liked the look of the conquerors + faction addons.
Yours is an unpopular opinion, Juice. Everyone knows the best Fallout 4 mod is _"Improved jiggle physics"._
no
go to horny jail
Thomas the Tank Engine mod: *You dare oppose me mortal?*
Well ya but thats to obvious
Umm this is Juicehead, not MxR
So i've read on the mod page that ss2 is compatible with ss1 , the question I have ( since i'm starting a new modded playthrough ) should I keep both of them , or just ss2 since it includes the added plots from ss1 ?
I don't know where you saw that but it's the reverse. SS1 is not compatible with SS2 and should not be used together. You can see this in the first sticky post in the comment section.
Can someone help me? I just started playing FO4 again and seeing how this came out a few days ago and the rave reviews of Sim Settlments 1 idk which to try first. Should I play with SS1 progress with that, then move to SS2. Or is SS2 like a standalone reset to SS1? I just wanna maximize my experience replaying the game and building gulags again.
YES I WAIT THIS VIDEO FOR 4 DAYS
What lightning/weather mod and ENB are you using? It looks amazing !
Another important mod to be covering is the new storyteller mod, based on the cancelled brotherhood movie mod Whitehall looks really promising...
although short in length it is a very good mod. the story and voice acting are top notch. there have been a few updates to it since it was released that fix a few minor bugs in it. i tried it out the day it was released and was very impressed with it overall.
Holding off on this to play through some other mods because I’ve already got SS1 running on those saves, but I’m looking forward to a clean slate with this mod and maybe a couple others I held off on trying for comparability reasons like Grimm
do you know of anything that can fix the draw distance. I stopped playing because i couldnt take all the buidings an foulage popping in as i moved through the map. Id like to finish the game if you know anything that can fix this
Sim Settlements was like a game inside a game, too bad I didn't have the patience to learn how to use it. Maybe with this one I'll finally try it out
OK this is probably a noob question but.. how do i install this?? I ve downloaded everything requred from Nexus.
Also do you have any other mods recommended for this? Especially for graphical overhaul.
Thanks in advance and great video btw.!
Are any of the quests in Sim Settlements 1 in Sim Settlements 2 as well?
That quick cut after shooting the guy
“A lot more intuitive”
*straight up caps a dude in the back of the head*
To be fair...well, there a lot of Sim Settlements 2 was volunteer work, but some of it _was_ done with a budget. Not all, not even most, but some.
That said, I agree that it's really great. You're review is pretty great too. Definitely the best explanation so far as to what Sim Settlements 2 is, and what all is in it.
Can someone please tell me what gun mod he’s using, as in which SMG he is using?
Kinggath and the devs have been putting in work!
5:10
Awnser 1: Yes (but depressive)
Awnser: 2: Yes
Awnser 3: Yes (You're not very nice)
Awnser 4: Yes (But indirect)
I can see why someone would think it's part of the vanilla game.
I’m kinda new to modding just thought I’d ask
I’ve downloaded a couple new guns but when I go into the game I can’t find them? I’m on Xbox if that helps
Hey Juicehead! From the scenes you show, it looks like you hadn't encountered any quest-breaking issues. DId you have a super pared-down mod list when you reviewed this?
GREAT review of an amazing mod!
Also the builds the ASAM make upgrade and enlarge themselves as more supplies become available.
If you like building things the vanilla way, how much room/purpose is there left for that?
KingGath really fits his name,he really is the King of modding. Thanks King!
What are the weapons mods that you’re using in this video?
can you do a list of great mods that work well with sim settlements 2 that dont conflict? i had a problem last time i played sim settlements 1 and added a bunch of other mods and also other mod authors add ons to sims and i kept getting ctds when i tried to re-enter the settlements.. so havent used sims for a long time.. is there a list of add ons and non conflicting settlement building mods quest mods etc overhauls that definitely work with sims & sims 2 without conflicting? thanks
What's the mod that adds decal benches and clothing benches, I deleted it and forgot what was and I want it back.
The way they did this mod genuinely should be how they go with building if they continue it in fallout 5
10:58
The PC just quicksaved! Everybody run!!
What a great review! Loved it! 👍👍👍 But what nobody has answered me to this day; Do I need to uninstall SS1 and then install SS2? And is a fresh restart of the game recommended?
Plan on getting this along with Tales from the Commonwealth :D
What armor mod did you use for that gunner dude? It's awesome
Can you add Sim Settlements 2 to a game save that you have all ready started but not done any settlement building or should you start a new game save for this mod?
unfortunately no
Hmmm, not a settlement builder, BUT I'd recommend looking into the FG42 mod that was dropped! Its pretty neat
One thing to note is you might have to use console commands to advance in some of the mod's quests. They did a good job, just sometimes people can get stuck for varying reasons. They have and will continue to patch these as time goes on.
If they could expand hands off like this to other factions, that would be next level. Especially for a minuteman playthrough. I'd love being able to send forces to tackle settlement quests for me. Being able to have a greater control on what weapons my troops use. What apparel they have. The make up of patrols and attack forces. Where patrols go. Which supply lines get more patrols. I'd love more unique minutman quests too. The factions just need more work.
Can we get a huge lore friendly mod list off of Nexus please?
A private world with sim settlements in fallout 76 might give me good a reason to go back to that game
I am going to wait a month untill they fix all the bugs. Got tired of downloading everyday for the new updates.
Quick question-- how come people prefer Sim Settlements 1, as it's less buggy? Is it only less buggy for Fallout 4 VR? Thx!
It's basically Preston's quests remade
What rifle mod are you using in this?
sorry if i did not listen too well, i'm still somewhat drunk after yesterday, but how ss2 impacts actual building in fallout 4? can you do it as without it?
Hey, so, the one thing I really liked about Sim Settlements 1 (back when I last played Fallout 4, which was like... 3 years ago now? Jeez, long time) was that it had a feature where basically you could start out with the settlements already built according to like a certain blueprint.
I remember that, at the time, not all of the settlements had a corresponding blueprint, so you couldn't have an already built settlement at certain locations. Did Sim Settlements 2 keep or complete this feature? Or was that feature deemed unusable due to how unstable Bethesda games get?
i Try to get this mod to work but it says i need sim settlements original for it to work. Problem is, It isnt on the list.
Anybody know why when I try to enable it it says I’m missing required files?
Wouldn't be surprised if Bethesda takes some ideas from this mod for Starfield
whats the cheat code to unlock evrything? if you know pls help me out.
I have played Fallout 4 a couple times but never with mods. I know I’m basic. I honestly don’t know how to use mods. I have a pc. Where do I go to download mods and do I need the sim settlement 1 mod to play this new second version? Someone please let me know
Does anyone know if assigning a mayor and letting the mod build cities themselves is in the new mod?
I've got a question, will this be compatible with SS: Conqueror, and will there be any additional functionality with that mod?
Currently Conqueror only works with SS1. SS2 Conqueror integration is planned down the track.
Conqueror 2 is planned.
I'm on Xbox, so i'll just delete the SS1 3-in-1 pack, and Conqueror, and maybe i'll have enough space to get SS2...... maybe?....
Very good review I agree with everything you said, This really is an awesome mod.
Serious question, how do I get more asam sensors after I run out of the initial stuff
I know that if you follow with the main quest of Sim Settlements, the NPC who introduced you to ASAMs will suggest a place that you can find more. West Everett Estates (the town that's like Sanctuary, but overrun with super mutants) if you don't want to wait to be sent there. I think it's a given that there will be ways to get even more than that, unless it's a _really_ massive supply.
Build them in the Chemistry station... If I remember correctly...
Amazing Review ! well done : anyone know the ENB setting use on this video? thx
I wish we had more mod space on Xbox 😔 I’d absolutely love to play Sim Settlements but I just don’t have the space for it. Hopefully they increase it for the inevitable Series X port.
I'm going to try this in VR
I can't get the main quest to start. I need help i can't play sim settlements 2 now
Is there any mods coming out for ps4 as well because I don’t want get xbox at all
i like the cut when you shoot the old man, i noticed you have to love me
