the way I see it everything up to the end of the Cold War is fine. Plus some iconic guns are also a option as well as the forgotten ones. like the Whitney wolverine .22 pistol and more for the arsenal.

Ingram Model 6 aka M2 is a good simple SMG that could be a signature gun of the Fallout arsenal. we need all the unique and wierd stuff. The Pancor Jackhammer was in the isometric Fallouts, so we know what can be allowed.

my only issue with the mk18 is its damage output is lower than the ru556. Vertibird: its not like you see them flying everywhere.... uhm... yes you do. lol

Part of me wants to say, "A thermal katana? What place does that have in Fallout 4?" Sadly, in a world with "I like big butts" ASSault rifles, and oversized rocket-powered sledgehammers (with a heating pad to sooth those wounds away, no less) and the oversized plastic monstrosities of lasers used by the Institute, I WANT to say the thermal katana is too techno to fit into FO4. Unfortunately, what I have to actually say is, the thermal katana is too refined to fit into FO4. LOL (One could argue ANY FO ... but FO4 really brought UGLY to the table, in spite of its shiny shiny graphics.)
You can't just casually drop a commander Shepard on us, he's a big deal. He's doing that whole Spectre that saves the galaxy and bangs aliens in more ways than one.
The FG-42's iron sight recoil is very...odd. I don't know any rifles that makes the back end of the gun get forced in the direction of the chest so violently rather than just the force of impact pushing back on the shoulder of the person firing it with a bit of sway afterwards lol.
I think it would have been cooler for maxson to said I'm sorry Shepherd and then blast them away instead of Dr Shepherd because it would be like Shepherd killing Shepherd
Thanks for the awesome review, always enjoy watching them, as far as the brotherhood goes, for the past many playthroughs I've always initiated war with them from the start by taking out Dance and the other two at the police station after the ghoul attack, I just can't get past the being talked down too once after climbing to General with the Minutemen, especially once you acknowledge that you've had military background you're still talked down too, that being said, would prob make finding vertibird parts a little more forth coming as I'm now on their list. When it comes to the new weapon mods, I'm a bit "gun shy" no pun intended as I like to play in third person mostly and what I've found in the many last weapon downloads there is no scope view in third person, you just get a red aiming dot looking over the shoulder "so to speak" same as aiming a vanilla 10mm pistol straight out of the vault. The scope is only pulled up to your view in first person only. My current go too weapon mods that I like the most are the XM2010 by tooun and the service rifle by F4nv.

it's funny how much alot of the modern warfare outfits for 2019 COD Warzone actually fit into fallout 4 like Nikito Kruger The shadow company operators and Both versions of Ghost the MW2 and 209 Versions because Ghost would be a character that would definitely survive in the wasteland.
Commander Shepard comes back and Nora has the same voice actor as Jack. It's almost a reunion.

Sim Settlements 2 is out... Awesome mod. However, you need to be careful using other mods with SS2.

If you have the robotics expert perk you can hack the robot when you first arrive in mariposa and get it to kill roger maxon

Please note: when you make an AR variant rifle 'small and compact', it is not like an smg, it is an SBR or short barrel rifle.
Just so you guys know, Most FG42s had scopes, they also had bayonet lugs.
