I have been struggling with SEO for the last year and quite frankly am not a big fan. However, I have an online business that grew from 0 to around 300 visits a month, mostly social media visits. After watching some of your videos my hate for SEO Is over and I am sure my website will reflect that this year. As they say, better late than never. Great question! If the entire website is in another language then I would set up all the SEO settings in that other language because that's what your ideal website visitors will be using when doing online searches. However if your website is multilingual then that's a different story.... SEM rush has a great article on multilingual SEO that you can read HERE www.semrush.com/blog/multilingual-seo/

For example, if I have French clients searching in French for something similar to my service but I am based in Brazil and therefore the site is in Portuguese, can do they find it? Do I need to make multiple language sites? Or does Google translate automatically? Thanks
Question: each page has “page settings” for GENERAL and for SEO. Both have the field for Optional page description. which one is more important for SEO?
Great video- I have a question please- I updated me SEO appearance but when I search my site in Google it hasn’t updated- I waited 2 days but still no update- Google uses information from another part of my website 🤷🏽♀️
Hey Lee! It's not uncommon for Google to take longer than 2 days to re-crawl & re-index your Squarespace website, still showing the old info from your site in the meantime. Just sit tight for a few more days :) you can always manually request if you need but patience is what i'd recommend haha

No, Squarespace works differently from other platforms - keywords are integrated much more organically in the back end website settings and also on the page content itself :)
Hey Rob! No you aren't required to do that - it's just something I do for my own organization & to make it easier for me to read the full image file name :)

Hi! Google Business is more important for businesses with physical locations that want to show up in local search results. So if your focus is online courses isn't not super necessary for you. I have a few videos on that topic here on my channel so watch those for more info :)

Hey! Multilingual SEO not my area of expertise but you could use a tool like Weglot to help with website translations to reach a wider audience :)
