Very worthwhile advice Jennifer W. I was knocked into a coma after another car T-boned mine in 2008. It is an extremely long road to get back to the idea of learning to communicate again. Yes, you do hear everything, but your body cannot respond until you wake up from the coma state. You do have to relearn everything all over again, just like a baby does after they are born. Prayers and positive vibes are being sent the survivor’s way to wake and the body begins the recuperation process. This person will need intense rehab for a long time to get back to an idea of living with the outside world again.

The Dr's can tell the difference between injuries from an assault and from being hit by a car. So they know for a fact she was hit by a car. Second, they didnt neglect her by making her get out of the car. You are under no responsibility to keep someone in your car. Third, you have NO IDEA who sent those texts. You are making total assumptions and want someone arrested based only on your emotional assumptions.
My daughter was in a 4 day coma in December of 2019. She was 7 and presumed brain dead. She’s 9 now and has made a full recovery, all things considered.
Well a lot of it has to do with your daughter age. But the older you get the less you recover from physical trauma. She is very blessed and fortunate to get the care needed in time to recover. However this lady is older and sound like she may not have been found ( or no one stopped right away) especially if in a bad area. But I hope this lady recovers because no one deserves this. Meanwhile if the co-worker is not involved then the hit and run driver should be required to pay her hospital bill for not stopping and was probably high or drunk to boot. But why the text and what happened to her phone and ID. I do not know any women who goes to work with just a cell phone.

I think the argument was about him wanting to hook up with her. He probably liked her and asked if she wanted to come sleep over at his place, she probably lied and said something along the lines of "My mom wont let me". He probably doubted her and said "then why dont i ask her" or something, texted the mom, then they got into the altercation where she decides to leave the car. she probably wanted to get away from him and was mad, so she didnt pay attention when crossing the street and got hit by a truck. *didnt know the text came from a female

She still lived her her mother. In an Mexican household it's is customary to ask permission from parents to stay out late. Even more when you are not coming home so that u won't let your Parents stay up all night worrying. Out of respect.

This reminds me of the murder of Wayne Cappelli of Delaware. He was "dropped off" a few blocks from home. His "friend" was pressed for time and supposedly could only take him so far. He lay in wait and ran him over once Mr. Cappelli was far from the major road. A house security camera captured the car that ran him over. They need to look at the friends car and security camera. Look for blood if there was blunt force trauma to the head.

Police should be questioning the coworker since she was the last person to drop her off. Who would drop off a coworker in the night at a gas station and just leave her there? Something isn't adding up.

She still lived her her mother. In an Mexican household it's is customary to ask permission from parents to stay out late. Even more when you are not coming home so that u won't let your Parents stay up all night worrying. Out of respect.

What the heck is wrong with people you getting an argument with somebody so you kick them out of their car it's like when I'm angry at one of my family members and they leave the house I always tell him I love him no matter what no matter how pissed I off at them at the moment because those feelings pass of anger and being upset with somebody but if they died then never telling them you love them will stick with you forever and but it's so caught up in their emotions at the moment they don't realize that they're going to pass and then they're going to be consequences to be dealt with afterwards!

This reminds me of the murder of Wayne Cappelli of Delaware. He was "dropped off" a few blocks from home. His "friend" was pressed for time and supposedly could only take him so far. He lay in wait and ran him over once Mr. Cappelli was far from the major road. A house security camera captured the car that ran him over. They need to look at the friends car and security camera. Look for blood if there was blunt force trauma to the head.
