I'm holding a pixel2 and thought to buy a Sony A6400, but after watching your video, I changed my mind, I think the ability of pixel2 camera for shooting is good enough for me at least for now, cuz it can even beat pixel5 and iphone12 from some aspects. So I would still hold this phone as my daily shoot device.

I moved from pixel 2 to pixel 3 to pixel 4 , and I noticed pixel 4 comes out blurry when there is motion and there is a lot of auto white balance issue , pixel 2 didn't have both these issues. Also pixel 4 is sticky in terms of motion metering and auto focus , In terms of taking quick pictures of kids, cars , pet, pixel 2 is still a beast. Don't know if pixel 5 has improved on this
I was searching for this comparison because i own a Pixel 2xl (my OP8pro came back 2 weeks ago from display repair but im not sure if i want to use it now) Reason is: my Pixel 2xl has unlimited Google storage but i think the Pixel 5 also has unlimited storage. Software support for my Pixel 2xl is long gone and thats why im looking for the Pixel 5.

@@GadgetRevNow try to edit a portrait photo in google photos. In the "adjust" tab, there should blur something. There, the blur can be adjusted or removed.
Well, that's a stretch if I will go to google photo to adjust it. It defeats the camera comparison because it wasnt natively done in the camera app. So, the easiest answer here is still No, there's no way to adjust the blur in camera app. But thanks man! 👊✌️😉
@Can Polat rarely used it btw, only use it to send photos n video from main phone, but played mobile legends few times and can tell it drained fast enough unlike my main phone
Wow! I was going to buy a Pixel 5a to replace my pixel 2, but I just ordered a battery replacement for my pixel 2 instead so I can get a couple more years out of it!
I've spent many years now trying to want to upgrade my pixel 2 xl and I'm not convinced I've found a reason to think anything is a meaningful upgrade...
@BURNITOGENICS Samsung phones are great but the UI is really too cartoonish for me. Just cannot hold one in my hand. I'd always choose a Pixel but not the 3XL. I'd buy a 4a 5g
I found a discount at Greece with the pixel 2 xl at 200 euros and the best new phone out there was the realme 8 at this money… I bought the pixel and I wand that only for instagram Facebook youtube Netflix Spotify and photography. Should you tell me your opinion about that ?

Camera might not be a good upgrade reason, battery life is.

In Pixel 3 xl, you can adjust the blur in the google photos editor. Maybe it was also present in the Pixel 2 xl?
