You guy's are so far so good!!!! Only took 2 weeks to get these answers! If I lived by you I'd run a tip over because I know why they put something like that on. And I hope what you are doing is all good. Then it's a win win 👍👍👍👍
Seriously glad someone doing vids on a f4i. Think you can email or something pictures of that wiring head light harness? My 03 f4i full build looks like yours but wanting to get alot of the chopped wiring figured out on mine so I know what's what and fix what's a mess
How do you bypass the 2 wires on the clutch lever perch for the clutch switch. I wanna put a 1 finger lever, and perch on my 2001 cbr 600 f4i, but I don’t know what to do with them 2 wires.
You can tie the two wires together and it will bypass the switch. If you do that tho make sure you hold in the clutch when starting in gear because it will try to go. If you leave them alone then you will only be able to start your bike in neutral.
Your ground(the green wire) may not be grounded correctly or that ground may already be grounding another wire for another bypass. You need to trace the wire and check which fuse is popping and check what thats connected to.
I'm redoing to f4i and the guy who had it before did a ghetto ass job. I barely know what I'm doing but it's a rats nest right now. What do you use to redo the harness or protect it from water or dirt? I was going to use some loom or heat shrink tube
High heat resistant loom works good for keeping it clean just put electrical tape over the wires then loom it after has always been my best option. You can heat shrink but getting back into the wiring itself if need be can make it a pain but if you have no reason to touch it again then that mat be a good alternative to the electrical tape
Does this sensor cause the bike to cut out when you attempt to wheelie? Got an 03 cbr and its cutting out every time I dont understand because my r6 never did that.
@@Joe-wheels my bike was kinda rough in the first place so i’m not sure if that was the last straw i could have cut the wrong wire cos it was nearly a year ago but i know i watched the video about 10 times before cutting anything cos i didn’t want to destroy it
@@Joe-wheels i think this time if i plan to do long wheelies where it might cut out i’ll just remove the front wiring harness cos it only takes a couple seconds and u can always plug it back in
Forgot to follow up, I did eventually fix it placing a fuse on it. I had a short-circuit later on but was not related to this... doo keep in mind that If the bike tips over, you only have like 4 seconds to shut it or its gonna make a mess with the cylinders and oil
Well with the cages and oil pick up mod done to stunt bikes we dont have that worry as much due to the angle it lays on the cage and the oil trapped in the pan for the mod.

appreciate these videos so much got a beater f4i i’m tearing down and re doing you help a lot
Im glad i could help my guy. Soon ill have more videos out to help with many more things.
@@Kelz04 just tried this and my bike won’t fire up now wire harness was already terrible so probablt just going to buy a new one at this point
Ive had to do the same. Sometimes people mess with them without understanding whats all going on and it ends up tearing everything up.
@@Kelz04 it had a vibe rider wired into it when i got it 😂 if u don’t know what it is i wouldn’t look it up

Thanks man im glad you enjoyed the video andi hope it helped. I can send you a schematic of the entire wiring harness if youd like.
Good shit! Hard to find stuff on the f4i
Do you know how to get the engine to start even after removing the sensor?

Thank you bro I really appreciate it.
Can we do this on a 09 fireblade?
I wanna know if this would work for my 02 954
Good info, just wish you’d show when it’s put together & don’t correctly how you recommend lol
my guy! good looking out >:)
Trying to locate my tip sensor on my 04 super glide
I try to connect the two wires on the main harness like he said for the street fighter and I keep blowing the fuse by the connected to the fuse box

It can in some cases but not usually on little wheelies. Balance point wheelies yes for sure.
@@Kelz04 that's what's been confusing me. Wont even let me get close to balance point most of the time.
It may be the bank angle sensor. Try bypassing it or taking the magnetic ball out of the sensor itself and see if that helps any.
@@Kelz04 will do thanks!
My guy how do I bypass my clutch switch and kickstand switch
Clutch switch you just tie the two wires togather same with the kickstand
@@Kelz04 gotcha I too off my blinker switch housing so that’s what I don’t get I need too find it in the main harness
Why ru bypassin it ?
This sensor keeps you from doing a bp wheelie to an extent.
update: i tried this and the shop had my bike for 7 months
Did you cut the line he said not too did you see this video before you cut in too your harness
@@Joe-wheels no i cut my harness then found a random video about it and decided to let everyone know that way…

I did this and now it wont crank
Are you sure you did the correct wires? All your doing is grounding out the other wire which is what the switch basically does.
Cant really understand the guy he mix his words when he took off the hornnes and tost it
