If we're on 23H2 already, can we revert back to 22h2? I've been following your registry hacks on your 1 hour privacy video to disable Cortana and other things. I found on the registry on my own with gpedit where Windows Copilot is listed and I disabled it. As for the lockscreen using my local account on Windows 10 I had my PC locked with a password. On Windows 11, it has a second line stating "sign-in options". How do I remove that and go strictly with a password only like I had in Windows 10? Another issue is having duplicate drives on the left-hand pane. I had this also on Windows 10. I have 4 external hard drives where I keep all my data and the first group are in order, F,G,H and I. The second group are not in the same order. Also, my PC has 2 hard drives, C and D. So why do my external hard drives start off with F and not E? Another thing concerning Microsoft's change of heart, I've been sending your RUclips videos to Microsoft and Windows on Twitter or X and maybe that's made a difference. So, Rule Britannia!

Well Brian mate out here in Australia I have not seen anything to do with the 23H2 update and it seems to me that we are really so behind the rest of the world and I cannot see for the life of me why Microsoft are so slow in providing these sorts of updates out here. Having said that my machines which are running 22H2 work perfectly well even the main desktop with the unsupported hardware though I suspect that 23h2 will block that machine from running Windows 11 Pro. It is becoming increasingly tedious since Windows 7 seeing the different versions of the OS and the constant updates which I don't seem to remember happening with Windows 7.

Interesting. I can think of several reasons why they would do such a thing, but listening to end users is not on the list. They may say it was from user feedback, but if Microsoft really did listen to user feedback (especially from the tech community) Windows would not be in as a bad state as it is today.

I stopped this at 0:42 to comment. I'm using "Win 10". Taking your advice some time back, I set the windows updates on a 7 day pause ( I think that's the max time they allow?). However, when I get the new repeated update notice popup's, all is good till I shut the computer down at which time the update automatically updates. I'll do a computer and UPS shutdown every day or 2nd day due to leaving the house.
Following your many cautions, I am seriously concerned. I have had early to mid 2000's software including Word that now don't function as their updates have disabled them. Their complete control and takeover is disturbing and I'm seriously now considering going over to Linux.
Any thoughts and comments would be welcome. Cheers
