@@TMReviews Absolutely no problem. ✌️ It’s good to know, since I heard from many reviewers that it don’t has any diecast and I found that pretty unusual for mp figures.
Sorry, I have some errors in my transformation, namely the tabs on the sides and back of the ambulance. I will show these in my transformation video, but this corrects the issue I had with the ambulance not staying together.
Great review man. I received my copy yesterday. Iv always been a strong supporter of MMC and their OX line, and this figure is no different, I like all three modes, the design the simplistic yet fun transformation which is easy to mess and flip to and from. If I had any real criticism of this it would be lack of paint, I know MMC are not known for their paint as they utilise plastic colour break up predominantly and this works really well especially with their Bruticus set however with all the limbs being white for Defensor I would have preferred a little more paint to make it really pop but where they have paint it’s applied well. Also in combined mode a gap filler on the forearm would have been nice behind the fist. As for transformation the only challenging part was orientating the combiner thumb the right way to make the rear of the vehicle mode tab correctly with no gaps. Looking forward to the rest of the team. From images it looks like Blades is next up for release.
Ratchet and Ironhide were Nissan C120 Vanettes. The dual headlamp assemblies continued into turn signals that wrapped around the front corners of the van modes. The rear windows were the same height as the side windows. But First Aid was a Nissan GC120 Vanette Largo. As the name suggests, it was supposed to be a slightly larger van overall, both in length and width. The headlamp assemblies were located entirely on the front of the van and did not continue into wraparound turn lights. Instead, the colored bar above the headlamps had turn signals that wrapped around the front corners. And the front and rear windshields dropped down lower than the side windows, presumably for greater visibility. Since MMC's van mode is smaller than the MP vans, it appears that the MMC van is too small to scale accurately with the MPs. XTB may be closer. But build quality matters too, so MMC's good build may ultimately trump XTB's larger size.
@@TMReviews I love that it doesnt look like it was ever gonna break on you while you manipulated it. XTB doesn't leave you with that same confidence half the time.
When transforming to Ambulance mode, it's also possible to fold the combined mode fingers *over* the feet, which will allow the feet to peg in to the inside leg. I had a lot of problems getting everything to fit when transforming it per the instructions, but once I folded the fingers over the feet it all compressed together and tabbed in much better.
Back when I saw Paik messing with the early prototype I knew I had to get this guy. I have a very tight limit on what I can/will get but this one is 100% worth it. I don't have plans to get the other ones but my three boys each want one of the other ones. They love my Combaticons from MMC/OX and they each wanted a part of this team. I think this will definitely be in the running for figure of the year. It does so much flawlessly. Great review. Thanks for posting.
When is mmc going to release there next member, love this company. The individual Bots on are amazing imo, but the combine mode was such a Huge mis step imo. As always great video.💖
I think MMC does a great job with their all-in-one combiners, this First Aid does a great job being G1. I still love the one from Generation Toy but i broke part of it sadly since he's so fiddly / panel-y (waiting for their Hot Spot (FooFighter) to come out of pre-order)
We are SOOOOO spoiled as collectors nowadays. Look at how good figures are these days! A far cry from just 10 years ago... And as much as I love this figure, I'm a little disappointed that the finished gestalt won't be as large as the Zeta figures. I'm completely spoiled by their combiners.
I'm really curious how these scale with the X Transbots Protectobots. Do you think they could be mixed and matched in robot mode and look ok, both size-wise and style-wise?
I am all on on the mmc set. Just can't trust xtransbots in terms of build quality and QC. If fans toys makes them I would probably get ft as well for robot mode. With the way pricing is with ft...too much to spend all that money to display in combine mode. I would then display my mmc set in combine mode. Plan to do same for combaticons as well if FT makes them as I have the mmc set. I don't have any Zeta or toyworld..was interested in superion but don't want to spend 450 just for combine mode...hoping mmc makes superion in the future. Love the fact it's all in.
you know what, i was never a big fan of the all in one gimmick but really it's the lesser of the evils out there zeta (ugly single bots) fanstoys (can't even finish one let alone 5) xtb (you're better off buying a lottery ticket), in the end mmc aint that bad, i hope mmc do all the combiners because i'd be in on all of them
Nice! Does he have some diecast?
Dang I should have mentioned it's filled with diecast, feet, shins and inner hardware on some joints

Agreed on the design and paint, thanks for watching

I knew they were related vans but didn't know all that detail...for me it works

Agreed
Im a big fan of MMC's quality and looking forward to getting mine. Nice job TMR!!!
MMC always does a great job with everything tabbing in
Agreed, so solid
The accuracy is spot on! Awesome review TMReviews
thanks man
Looks soooo good next to mp - 44 😍

Yup. I mentioned this error in my pinned comment. Corrected this during my transformation video, appreciate the info
There’s tabs on the legs that flip out to help secure the back of the van to the cab as well. Nice review TM. I’m all in.
Thanks, that's what I mentioned in my comment, found them during the transformation vid
Amazing figure forsure!! They really captured the toon Aesthetics. Definitely a pick-up from me. Yes Ocular Max killed it. As always great review.
Thanks supra

Great review & great looking bot. I didn't want this set but I'm in now
Its looking good so far, my one complaint was due to mistransformation so now I have no complaints
Same bro
would love to see Fanstoys do Irionhide and Rachet
Yup

Awesome review… And GREAT TRANSFORMATION tutorial
Thanks, I definitely messed up transformation in the review so I had to redeem myself
@@TMReviews lol
Thanks for sharing, he's an awesome bot.
thanks for watching
MMC engineering is top shelf
Have you seen photos of the X-Transbots version? He's the same height as Ironhide and Ratchet in robot mode.
Didn't realize that, thanks for the info, i think I'm ok with this size tho
He's rocking the MIB Cricket..
I actually like his vehicle mode compared to the Takara
Cricket?

Great review 🌟😎.. I love this bot 😃
Thanks G
Nice
I think the specs on the card are supposed to be for the combined mode? They don't correspond to the stat's on the back of the box
Hmm that's wierd

Yes, I think they would be fine size wise. Aesthetically maybe not
@@TMReviews which one do you prefer aesthetically? I can't remember if you mentioned that or not.
If I didnt care about quality or transformation, X-Transbots wins, but I hate their product quality these days
Apparently I was wrong, XtB is bigger
@@TMReviews Cool. Thanks so much!
A first-rate review of Medicus and his cool accessory! 🚑
Why do I need this and g2 vortex in my life?

XTB designers need an internship at Fanstoys or MMC... just saying.

Lol, I laughed and also agree with this, it's a tough balance but perhaps a good compromise
I'm right there with you. When it comes to overall quality I'm down with MMC.
