Thanks mate! I’m looking forward to putting a few miles on it and getting the car well sorted. I have plans to work out a way that other people can enjoy it too, hopefully that pans out eventually.
@@RussellAdams-g1v to be honest it feels almost exactly the same… possibly pulls a bit harder with the upped compression. The specs were pretty much identical, old cam was 286 292 with 108 lobe separation and new one is 286 290 on 110 with a little more lift. I still think I can put some more timing into it but honestly it drives great and brakes felt normal until the master cylinder shit itself ( that was fun towing the caravan) probably after sitting so long so I’m putting a kit in it next week. I never seemed to have issues with the low vacuum and brakes.

Goodaye good to see it running again how does the new cam compare to the old cam power wise, does it affect your brakes etc
