Dear Keyu Jin, Chinese groundbreaking technology happened in the 9th Century BCE
In the 9th Century BCE, the Chinese were able to melt iron like no other civilization at the time. This gave the ancient Chinese an economic advantage that lasted for hundreds of years. Besides smelting weapons, Chinese coins were minted and used as trading currency. Ancient China become the commercial leader which manifested itself in an industrial revolution. During these millennia Chinese silk became a thought-after commodity. In the 6 century BCE, silk Reached Germany via the Silk Road. Here too an increased affluence brought with it a wave of elevated cultural development.

This idea that other countries can work peacefully with the Chinese Communist Party flies in the face of reality. The leadership routinely censors, imprisons, and attacks its critics, from journalists to human rights lawyers to artists to social media personalities like Laowhy86 or SerpentZA; how can the CCP grow when it's this obsessed with face, and avoiding humiliation from any source? I think if the CCP really wanted to show the world they don't want to cause trouble, they should (at the very least) surrender their ownership claims to the sovereign country of Taiwan, as well as international/contested areas like the South China Sea or the Arunachal Pradesh.

Traveling the world does not automatically provide one with a more correct or unique perspective of the world or even particular parts of the world, nor does one's own personal history. Thoughtful engagement with other points of view may provide an opportunity for insight, but a thesis based on that experience again does not necessarily give a person a more accurate understanding of any culture or system. It may allow a person a unique experience and an opportunity for obtaining knowledge from that experience but it does not in and of itself provide a basis from which to judge the accuracy of the presented thesis.

I don't intend to debate with you.. it is pointless.. but I'll just state a simple fact that you can easily verify. For all the talk about "Uighur genocide" by western media, which the term "genocide" implies destorying cultures and languages, just find a RMB currency if you can, and study it. Yes, you'll find Uighur language printed on it, together with Tibetan and other 2 minority languages. So much for "genocide" isn't it. It isn't surprising if many in the west couldn't recognise Uighur language or even saw a RMB currency, but they'll just parrot some western media propaganda of uighur genocide as the "truth" w/o attempting to verify it or exercise logical analysis. China has debunked many of the accusations but people just dismiss anything China says w/o even trying to verify or be objective, and that is not the correct way to seek the truth. Hear all sides, then one can make an informed decision. Visit xinjiang & uighur communities in China, and you can see the truth for yourself.
There are anti-terrorism operations in China, and there are terrorism attacks in Xinjiang. And that is a fact. There are different ways to tell a story. If the western media is out to discredit China, there are many ways to filter out incovenience truth and distort information to create a false narrative. Maybe the truth is somewhere in between.

Western countries too full of cameras, don't be a hypocrite, it's part of security. Even you log on to your phone, you can opt for eyes scanning or thumb print. Any crime scenes or terrorists strikes, police will scrambled to watch cctv for clues! Same goes to UK, it's full of cameras too! China's camera is not the first to implement. There are about 5 million cctv camera in the UK alone! The US has 50 million cctv.. Lmao!
Just Google and you will get the figure, followed by the rest of EU. Don't just only point at China. Cctv is not to watch for fun, who will have the time and interest to watch the public walk around, unless there's a crime scene! That's the purpose!

Did you know that the roller ball point pen was able to realize in China in 2017? Electric cars in China exploding and each blueprint is a stolen technology everything from wind turbines to weapons. The China market is just being used by the PRC in exchange for technology then China builds on their own then performs the price undercut so that competitors will be out of the market.
