Hey Jen, coming to you from frugalfitmom's channel and enjoying your videos so far, so thank you. When my fridge did that it meant that the condensation drip tube was clogged and had to be cleaned. My fridge is not the same as yours, but the issue was the same. Hope that helps. Also did you know that those 3 'feet' on your angel food cake pan are there to be able to flip the pan without needing a wine bottle, the wine bottle hack is for the pans that don't have them. That way you can drink the wine while it cools 😉
good job MURPHY!!! protecting your mom from the bat! we had a bat loose in our house once, it came in from the fireplace. it was a night i'll never forget, my husband was terrified! love your videos and loved your boy floating in the pool - 85 and humid here in WA today, going to order a similar pool for our back yard :D

So enjoyed this. I live in an apartment in UK and have a galley kitchen. How I envy your kitchen, but at 70 have learnt to make do. It is very nice to sit and watch all your prep. Loved everything! The trash can slide out...couldn’t agree more. Except mine is 21 years old. Lol and as far as getting together with friends and BBQ’ing...didn’t even need to comment. You do you! Ice accumulating in the fridge is often a plugged drain hole at the bottom. Have Adam take a look (he seems handy) or call a repair guy to fix it. You can get a big puddle sometime when you are out of town and it can be a mess.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love your channel!!! As for the Clorox wipes, I make my own, and by making my own. I buy unscented baby wipes and pour antibacterial cleaner on them
I was just watching this and remembered your monthly grocery bill... Really, you cook for these videos and America’s Test Kitchen, too, plus you entertain and clearly cooking is your avocation. So I think that grocery bill is quite reasonable! And re the virus, YES, it depends on where you live.

You brought back a memory! My mom would make angel food cakes and use a 7up bottle when she cooled it. I was always intrigued with it being upside down.
Jen, I make my own cleaning wipes with paper towels, 4 oz of 70% alcohol, 10 oz water, 4 squirts of dawn. You can use any container, i found perfect one at dollar tree that fits 1/2 roll paper towels. I found Scott brand paper towels work best. It cuts grease, cleans anything, ive used it several yrs and love them.
Love how Murphy supervises you! His face was hilarious when you told the kids they threw food in your garbage bin and that's why you had to clean it. He peeked around the counter at you in shame.. LOL

I love your fridge can you share what the model is. Even with that ice glitch...I love how you do your dishes I do mine the same and get wet shirts too. So nice to see someone else does the same ;) I also now need to make broccoli salad and tomatoes with soft mozzarella. yum.
I agree with the gathering. I live in WV and we have had such a low impact of the virus in our area. We are now opening up and no spike has ocurred. I think that the idea of opening up to someone who lives in a hot spot is hard to handle, but perfectly safe for those of us in less effected areas.
I use a large trash can liner in my trash can and then insert another grocery store shopping bag in the initial one. We are empty nesters, so we take out the store shopping bag every night and replace with another one, but the initial liner stays pretty clean. We use the grocery store bags in our bathrooms as well. Always get an accumulation of bags. I use the smaller ones inside the initial one because the large ones take a while to fill and the trash would start to smell. This way the small trash bag gets taken out daily and no smell accumulates.
We had the same problem with our old Samsung fridge. It was a problem with the outflow tube freezing up and then the condensation can't flow out, collects in the bottom and freezes. There are a couple of DIYers who have connected wire somehow to make it go down in the tube and keeps it warmer somehow? We just bought a new fridge rather than continue to deal with it.
I wish my Roomba would go in a straight line. I have a 650 and it just meanders all over the room. I wish I could keep plants alive. I've killed TWO aloe plants. I don't even know what I did wrong lol. Love the video of Connor in the pool living his best life

I love visiting a farmers market, much less plastic packaging :) plus the produce just tastes SO much better for some reason! I’ve landed a veg garden this year so I’m excited to harvest some of that later this year. Do you have a garden? I’ve found it really relaxing, I bet your kids would love to help too 😊
OMG bats are my worst fear. I took my class of 6/7 year olds in the bat cave on a school trip to the zoo years ago and I was asked to leave by the assistant in there because I was hysterical. She said I was scaring the bats!! I was meant to showing the kids how to be calm and respectful but I couldn’t cope! Had them all saying to me outside, ‘miss are you ok now?’ 🤣🤣🙈🙈
I need a big single sink like yours..I have a double sink in my kitchen and it's a PITA to wash big stuff in it. Our area (DFW area in TX) has been opening back up for several weeks now...Most are open at 50%. Covid cases are going up again. :( We choose to still pretty much stay home.
I have been considering buying the Damn Delicious cookbook and now I’m sold! Thanks for reminding me to scrub down my trash can and wipe down the washer and dryer! These are always things that are easy to neglect! Yesterday I cleaned all bathrooms and dusted the toilet paper holder and towel racks- those get so dusty!
Question for you. I don’t own a toaster oven. I have researched them and and read about the distance between cupboard and top of the toaster oven was important due to the heat it puts out. How have you felt about that? It the top really really hot? I don’t have a ton of room for a large sized toaster oven. Just curious.
You could add some cheap dollar store liner under your trash cans. Just toss it out and replace it 2/4 times a year. Probably go the whole year on one or two rolls.

Totally agree about getting together and not passing judgement, either way. We have seen a couple of friends and family in the last week or so (one wasn't comfortable coming inside so we visited from outdoor chairs 6' apart). Everyone's situation is different (health concerns, state and county regulations, etc) and I think we all need to just be okay with everyone being at a different comfort level for a while. Want to responsibly get together? Great. Need some more time? Totally understand. Also, I like your hair wavy. ♥️

Yes, this! Happened to us but we didn’t realize until a puddle formed and damaged our hardwood.

The bats are good for insect control if you put a couple bat houses up closer to the woods it should deter them from your umbrella

I line my trash can cabinet with Press & Seal. Once a week I just have to remove/replace the Press & Seal.
I bet ur big sink comes in handy for washing out ur produce drawers.. I need to do that too..
Thoughts on the Microban Cleaner? I have the all purpose and it says to let dry. It's just so sticky IMHO. Nevermind I see now! Lol
