I don't think Chans case was very rude, honestly. Stays are soo close with skz, especially with Chan. And there is nothing wrong with speaking about such things.
yeah like it's not shameful to talk about periods but a male idol would definitely not be the first person I'd ask for advice lol
He chose to answer the question
If he didn’t want to he could have ignored it
I don’t think it was rude to ask
We stays are really comfortable around Chan I think that’s why
@@becca5161 yeah, but again it was not an interview, just livestream. He didn't have to answer, if he was uncomfortable
Yepp it wasnt rude at all
It’s not rude but why are you asking a male idol, who didn’t experienced periods, for advice on them? It’d have been more logical to ask a female idol or best someone in your own circle.
Since he comfortably answered the question, I don’t see any problems either, lol. It was also useful advice!
The chan thing being called rude is kinda dumb. Menstruation is something everyone should know about, my male friends give me advice too, it's genuinely helpful and someone might be comfortable asking chan, ig being behind a screen helps.
Right
Yes like I don't have a mom and I'm the oldest child (but luckily I have my aunt and cousin). If I didn't, I would have to ask other people/strangers for advice. That can include male friends who have sisters/girlfriends.
yeah and it was his choice whether to answer it or not and the fact he DID answer it meant that he was fine with it and comfortable at that time.
Yes I agree
I agree so much, like Chan shouldn't be included here, the author messed up

Unbelievable the majority of the media always seem to confuse other successful K-pop groups to BTS and they asked such rude and insensitive inappropriate Questions while interviewing
Even NCT has to face it and got7 too I felt bad being an ahgase when the whole interview was about Jackson and he talked about his love to namjoon was adorable but the interview literally put that on title and thumbnail to make more money very disrespectful for both army and ahgase
That's so disrespectful :(
After bts success there are many group who got compared to bts as an army I also don't like it 🙁🙁.i dont think k-pop groups want to compared with each other
especially when the group debuted AFTER bts, it's kinda worse. idk why ppl have the urge to ask junior and less experienced groups about another successful group, as if it concerns them. im a die-hard army, yes, but it should be plain common sense for these interviewers to understand that not everything has to be compared, especially when bts are one of the more experienced and most internationally successful groups, it's just not considerate or fair to compare.
Her question is not harsh at all is just army's taking it too serious ughh grow up army's
I love how Chan said "for those people who are on that day" because not only girls go through periods, that was very considerate.

As an ARMY and as a part of other fandoms, it makes me upset when interviewers bring up BTS in an unrelated interview with another kpop group. Props to them for being calm about it, but they shouldn't have to deal with it at all. I know it has happened a few times, and I hope those people will educate themselves and stay relevent to the group they are talking about or too. Also comparing the group one is talking to, to another group is rude. Like thats just common sense. It is rude and no one needs it.
menstruation questions do not classify as "rude" and it just goes to show how idols, such as chan, are breaking the misogynistic stereotypes that are applied to women by openly talking about it, as it should be
The question that the stay asked to chan wasn't rude since periods are a normal thing and also, chan's room is a safe space for all stays and we're comfortable talking about our problems. Channie also gives great advice in a very respectful manner and I don't think there was anything wrong to that question
It wouldn’t hurt to apologize to the IDOLS

I felt really bad for sehun to answer a question like that.... Maybe at first while reading the question he didn't understand what it meamt but he eventually did.... I really hate the mentality of some people around the world who think that a man not having a beard or who puts on makeup is gay like that's toxic masculinity what we call it.... People should really stop questioning about someone's sexuality....it's rude... And what is even the matter if they belong from lgbt community, I don't see any harm in this.... Those people deserve to do what they like and deserve to be loved... Why are some people so discriminate when it's comes to someone's sexuality... And who tf asks questions like this on a live stream.... Like are you nuts???
And Chan's reply just made me respect him 10 times more than I already did.... He just handled the situation so calmly , not everyone can do so....and his answer was really boyfriend material.... No matter why he is considered to be an ideal boyfriend every girl wants.... Moreover not to mention how respectful he was....

I somewhat agree with this comment. While it’s definitely rude to assume someone’s sexuality because of what they do, I don’t think it’s rude to just ask them if they are gay especially if they aren’t asking in a rude way. (Keep in mind I’m from the lgbtq+ community)though I do agree that asking an idol that you don’t know if he’s gay on a live is really weird. But just asking someone if they are gay in general is fine. Also, I can see ur and NCTzen :) can’t wait for jalapeño and sticker to drop.

Why shouldn't we asked guys about menstruation ? It's a conversation you should be able to have with everyone so the common knowledge of everyone can level up. Those men have mothers, sisters and girlfriends they also can became father to 1 little girl, they should be able to know how to help them if those girls in their life needs some help. Those kind of conversation should be normalized instead of being a taboo and considered rude question to ask someone it's like why should we ask girls about cars or football. Guess what girls can be interested on that too.
If a male fan asks a female idol about man stuff, he'll definitely be considered sexually harrassing the female idol, lol.

Chan's case wasn't rude, because he's a feminist and stays are really close to skz the way army is to bts, so they just talk it out easily.
What does feminism have to do with menstruation?
How's it related to being feminist..stays are close to Skz specially chan that's why he chose to answer the question it has nothing to do with others
The rudest one was GIDLE, OH MY GIRL and MonstaX. What’s so wrong about talking about periods? He talked about in Live because he didn’t feel weird.
I am stay all the skz fans so close to skz specially Chan we are really comfortable with him. Stays are the luckiest fandom ever
I don’t know why some people just consider the term “menstruation” as an insult or rude thing if someone asks anything related to it to a guy, like come on it’s 2022…it’s such a normal AND natural thing that every female handles and it’s totally FINE to ask a guy about it if you’re comfortable with him. And stays are indeed really comfy with Chan because he’s so close to us and NEVER makes us feel uncomfortable. So please, normalise anything related to menstruation, cuz if you can’t then you really have a backward mentality…

It's more heartbreaking for MonstaX because the interviewer seemed to mock them after they said they were making history that night, she was like "how are you making history?", then proceeded to mention BTS' grammy nomination. I mean, I'm an ARMY but no group should ever feel that their success isn't enough or as worthy as others'.

The most annoying is for me is Monsta X situation and the bts situation. Like idk on what drugs was the interviewer that asked monsta x that question but damm that was a huge disrespect

im not a stay but from what ive seen of bangchan's lives, i think that wasnt an entirely inapporpriate question to ask... ive seen NCT have a few lives where the members asked if the fans have any personal worries and giving their opinions on the matters
Bang Chan 's question was nothing rude. The way he answered was soo heart warming for the fan girls but somehow some fans hated him but most of the fans appreciated it
Just because you are host of some show and ask anything that doesn't mean they can ask about their personal life 🙄

I think the chan thing was not that rude. We stays are so close and comfortable with skz. It might see rude for others but stays and skz are really comfortable with it
bang chan is one of the best advicers i have seen ever in my life....
With Monsta X it was even more intense, because they said that they are making history being the first K-pop group performing on Madison Square Garden and the interviewer said in a rude manner "you are making history? Have you heard that BTS got Grammy Nomination?"
All these idols did a great job responding! I still will always remember when at the BTS Map of Soul: Persona press conference when the report asked about plagiarism of BST. I think we all agree that majority of these reports would rather try and get a reaction out of idols then just stay professional! I have much respect of all these idols on handling these ridiculous questions so well!

The way they answered the questions was so calm and classy! I praise them all for this fact!
Ellen to SuperM: "Are you single?"
Even Mark was not having that ridiculous question 😂
I am disappointed that small company groups not get as much attention as big company groups. I hope that kpop fans will start appreciating groups on their talents instead of company titles. I felt bad for Soyeon here too
I’m an Army and I don’t stan monsta x but how about they let the guys have their moment-
I don't know how Chan can always answer questions so calmly... I could never
The amount of hate bangchan got after that question. I understand that people come from different backgrounds and not everyone is open minded. But why the death threats? Why the hate?
Bangchan just answered a question.
Specially the twt stans. They traited him like a criminal .They did him dirty.
Sorry for my English
Twitter kpop stans are always rude and immature...you just have to get used to it

i hate how people expect any idol or celebrity to be perfect and answer questions just like one would like them to answer.
why expecting chan to give such a detailed answer when he's a man who doesn't menstruate? istg i hate kpop stans more and more each day that passes.
@@barbierozie3257 yes facts. Whatever kpop idols do, good or excellent job, they are always gonna get dragged to the mud. So we stans have to ignore them and support the idols. Who cares about a mad dog barking?
he got death threats???
In mine, and all of STAYs’ opinions, Chan’s case was not RUDE. Chan is a very comfortable, caring, and a sweet person to talk to or be with. STAYs feel so comfortable around him because of his caring behaviour, talking about periods isn’t a thing to be ashamed about. Plus, chan could’ve just ignored that question if he didn’t want to answer it. But no, he chose to answer that fellow STAY about that. He cares so much for STAYs, and his band mates that we literally find him as a brother.
I love SKZ,Bang Chan is amazing! I am so proud to stan them! They are such kind men!
