The time of Daniel was under the old testament....the Holy Spirit was not yet given to live inside born again children of God. So Dniel need to fast and wait and fight bcoz the devil was hindering with power. But now, we are under the new covenant, a better covenant we have the Holy Spirit living inside us, our great teacher....we are now called more than conquerors in Jesus name.

Because they weren't allowed in heaven but it wasn't there time to be judged and sent to hell. The book of enock goes in more detail about this
