I have no idea how you are able to do such a coherent and comprehensive review while still driving these trucks through some crazy obstacles! Very impressed! I can’t even talk to my buddies and drive without crashing. 🤣
You show how to take the best lines and how you setup your rigs. I would love to see how and what you do to setup Desert Lisard shocks and I know a lot people really struggle with setup of those shocks.
I totally get this kit! Not only because I drive a taco. When I see how good the TRX-4 sport is I kind of want more of a challenge. Seeing what this can do in this video is impressive (with skills I don't have yet, lol.) I think I'm going to put smaller "street" tires on one, lower it, speed it up, and make it a pre-runner. I only put my real taco in 4wd when I can't move, or I'm in traffic and can't mess around. LOL I hope they offer more colors. The Gatekeeper is $100 off for crawling. It will be neat to compare them on the same course.
I can't wait to get the Trailrunner (4runner version of knightrunner). I have a TRX4 on links and a Trailfinder 2 on leaf springs. I think this would be a great in between ground vehicle. I wonder what it would take to put leaf springs from the TF2 on that thing's rear.
Definitely gonna be adding one of these to the fleet. Used to have the Trailrunner and the IFS made it more difficult yet more interesting to drive than my straight axle Trail Honcho was. It had its weak points and wouldn’t go some of the places my honcho would go but man I had a blast with it still!
Im on the same boat, will probably go with the tf2 because theyre a hole lot of fun. The element must perform 10x better though, but for me its all about realism .
Parts literally fly off this truck going down the trail. It looks good, but buyer beware. Don at Associated support did not honor warrenty. He was rude then lied and said I cursed him out so he would have a excuse to hang up on me. So no help from Associated.
WoW this thing looks SUPER scale ... you make it look very realistic! Beautiful looking rig! But hey Logan .... any chance you might be making anymore Gladiator content? I love the terrain you put the Gladiator through ... other youtubers just dont cut it when it comes to the perfect terrain you challenge it with!
Too bad element didnt make the bottom of IFS level with the frame, would have probably worked better. Still an awesome truck. Would love to see you build a comp rig out of one of these or the sendero hd.
Great review. You: 12:55 "Best way it drags its self through" hit the nail on the head... Nipped them annoying hook hanger off pushed in front & rear bumper had to drill new holes front & rear yo slide bumpers exactly where I wanted put bow house steering support ssd, front knuckles & 4.19 landmines & it is a little beast. & still looks great.... Best looking poorest running out the box not much to seek better looks & smash the already poor proformence or nip push & cram it into a very good looking yet capable rig.
wow you have some really good terrain to navigate. Are you in AZ or CO? I'm in NC and we have lots of river rock / giant white oak roots / and mountainous terrain here. Real crawling territory but i'd love to drive on this. We have nothing close to this lol. Very cool truck, I really like the way tacomas look. i want one of these :P
That truck is pretty cool. I admit I want one. I want to build an overland style truck on my channel. But........ I want the 10.3 jeep hahaha. I think I'm a axial guy. I did buy a baja rey 1/10 but that's different. Hahaha. Great review. I agree with your point on ifs. But I only like ifs for speed style trucks. That may like you say be a good pre runner. But. 1.55 is not my tire size choice. Haha. I need the gladiator lol.... Again. Awesome man.
I am looking at getting this from a nearby RC hobby shop and I was wondering before I purchase it is it any good and are the diffs metal or plastic because that is what will turn me away from it is if the diffs are plastic
@@joeharju5697 sweet that means that the trailing arms on the sor graphics page will fit the ecto......i know the ecto comes with trailing arms but in this video the truck got the trailing arms from the ecto so i was suggesting the sor graphics replacements and didnt know if they were the same.........because i shuddered to think of an ecto without the trailing arms! check out these aftermarket arms on the sor graphics page im going to try them on my eto.....thanks for the comment!

Haha thanks man. Sometimes it takes a few tries
That rig has such a good scale look on the trail. Thanks so much for the look see.
You hit the nail on the head with your 2nd generation Tacoma comments
The realistic look of the rig is a win. And with all of the custom parts available, that will make for some fun builds.
Definitely, lots of rigs to clone
I love your slow control crawl driving style sir. The car looks more scale. That is why i enjoy watching you chanel.
Thank you, that’s definitely how I prefer to drive

Scale metal supplies makes an IFS extension kit too!!!!! I really love the look of this truck definitely should have been licensed!!!

Dude your crawl is insane man. Ive watched a few of your videos - definitely a fan 🤙🏽
I appreciate that!
What an incredible spot to drive looks so scale too. Man part of me wants this truck but part of me doesn't
I use a HH BLS SHV800 servo without issues. Awesome rig with multiple applications.
Love the video, my guy. The quality was so high, and it almost looked like B-roll, but it was you driving and recording.
I really do think either a Knightrunner with the Knight Customs bits or a TF2 will be one of my next rigs. Keep up the great vids.
Im on the same boat, will probably go with the tf2 because theyre a hole lot of fun.
The element must perform 10x better though, but for me its all about realism .
I feel like I’m listening to Jim from the Office crawling. Lol
Crawlers should have more with them . Would really help with traction
Great video!!! Amazing landscapes!!! Excelent truck!!
Love the truck reviews like this! Great video 👍🏼
Thank you! I appreciate that

Would be nice to have a IFS high clearance version like Marlin Crawler does.
Great vid bro, nice to see our cooler in the back 👊🏼

Realism was there for sure performance well that's a matter of opinion. Like the rig though glad I caught the video..
i would honesttly love a gen 1 tacoma body

sounds like you’ve been hard at work getting it tuned up! Definitely the right upgrades from what I’ve seen
@@westdesertwheeler always rc Crawlers have been a passion last couple of years. Like your channel. Good thing going for you. Very informative.
@@westdesertwheeler Just a question. Have you tried the traxxas 2021 bronco yet
ya baby I think she did good
awesome thanks for the vid
Man that thing looks sooo good.nice vid
Whats up!! Great video man!
My Favourite Rc ❤

I've been wondering if the element ifs kit will fit the Ecto, basically creating a skinny chassis yeti, kind of what u have with your knight rider.
Just got an Ecto and I think I’ve read it is compatible… can’t find again where…
You cam buy a ifs kit from element its like 100$ it bolts right on to ant element rc

great video and info thanks doode
The Parts from Knight Customs come blank with no toyota logos. People add them before printing. at least i did :)
Great looking rig 👍. Very scale look'n too.
Yeah they look pretty good
I kinda like it… Looks nice. 🤙🏼
Nice rig👍
If the body was licensed the cost would be higher they was trying to keep the price down
Where did you get the ice chest?!
Really cool rig but I’m not sold on the independent front suspension 🤷♂️
Prolly an awesome trail rig but for comp? Naaaah! 😁💯💯🤙
That rig is nice. More marlin content though please! Haha
I can run this truck on 3s with the stock electronics???
I think RUclips wants me to buy a knightrunner. I keep getting videos about them suggested to me.
Nice bro!! Like from #crawlerrsevilla
will enduro trailing arms fit ecto?
The Ecto has the Enduro chassis. And the Ecto comes with trailing arms from the factory

I would pay the difference for a licensed body
Is the ESC waterproof?
