Yeah, FT has been on fire for a while now, releasing one amazing figure after another. I really hope they finally complete their first 2 combiners (whats taking so long??) so they can give us the proper mp Bruticus we've been waiting for. Some extra mp cassettes would be awesome as well...

AOD's version of Richtofen(which I already own), nor the original DX9 cut it. I even saw DX9 in a store recently, for $59.99. But this is the Powerglide I want..Just what the Doc ordered..twice!
The patchwork paint on mine looks bad. It is missing a screw cover. Can *not* get the back of the aeroplane near the engines to tab together completely. The wings fell off, due to the screws having heads that're too small. Very difficult to get all four landing gear touching the floor at once. The left side of the chest doesn't tab in as flush as the right in robot mode. What the hell were they smoking when they designed the knees?
Bot mode looks great! Jet mode looks a little thin and long. The leg transformation looks overly complicated. I may keep this version in bot mode and keep my other one (I think it's DX9, but I don't remember) for jet mode.
Hi, I need help with my FT-54. There's a red plastic piece that fell down from the figure as soon as I got it out of the box, it's not broken and I can't find it's place. It´s a rectangular red tab, one side has a rounded slab, the opposite side has a very small hole and a notch. Where does it fit?
That is some mind blowing mass shifting, especially in the legs. THE LEGS!!!! How?!?!?!? Hopefully the QC is impeccable cuz all those tiny parts. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the doubled up wing flaps in bot mode. Otherwise this looks incredible!
Tbf with the wing flaps you could just "mistransform" him and not have them doubled up, means they'll stick a bit further back but that won't really be visible from the front.

Powerglide is one of the bigger minibots, not all the minibots are the size of bumblebee. Brawn, cosmos, warpath, seaspray and powerglide are lil taller, but still shorter than regular autobot soldiers
@@pandamant666 I had he’s G1 figure back in the day and if I remember correctly it was about the size of the other minibots, I ask the question cause the fans toys figure looks big to me. Still smaller than most but definitely bigger then I thought. Looks good though.
@@ericwoolfenden6536 G1 toy is not cartoon accurate, FT is based on G1 cartoon size. In the cartoon powerglide is taller than other minibots and is about same size as regular car bots.
@@pandamant666 thanks bud. I’ve been collecting transformers since I was a kid. 46 now. Just remembering my childhood toy. I got into 3rd party and MP a few years ago and have a decent collection. Unfortunately I do not have a powerglide. Honestly I like the DX9 figure and really for its price it’s a wonder I don’t have it yet. The fans toys one is nice but their prices are a little to high for my blood. Although I do have beach comber. Good figure. But anyways, I figured for a plane he would be a little bigger the a Volkswagen Beetle. I guess I was just comparing the Dx9 model to the fans toys. Fans toys definitely a lot bigger

Both modes look fan-frickin-tastic! The G1 accuracy is on point but the transformation looks like it's gonna be a bitch. Gotta give it to Fanstoys though, they put out some quality stuff.

Yes! And fanstoys has raised the bar and forced takara to improve. They went from bumblebee mp45 to Jetfire. That is a massive leap in quality.

The doubled up wings kill me too, but yeah the transformation is ingenious
