No problem, Harold! I just wish I could've found the ones we were looking for!! I sure wish we were back in Jamaica. This cold isn't much fun, @haroldmarsh7000! ☹️🥺
Hello Sir! I'm an old man myself and a "newbie" Bike enthusiast. > While I have purposely avoided any crazy mountain trails because I mostly ride lite gravel trails with my wife and grandsons I'm forced to ride several times a week ( every week ) on paved highway and neighborhood pavement around my local neighborhood. I get teased quite a bit because my daily rider is a 2019 Kona Big Honzo and not a road bike. But it doesn't bother me because I just love that bike and when my two Grandsons ( who also have Kona Big Honzos ( 2018 & 2022 ) and I load up the van and head up the mountains to the trails I know I'm covered. However, I'm hankering for a new Bike this year and thought I would check out the Kona Woo > thats when I found this video and man I just can't stop staring at your beautiful Bike! Wow-on-the-Woo ! I may have to live with the stock from the factory Bike for a while if I get one, but man is yours awesome! Did you end up selling your other Bike ( wo I think ) and or can that cracked frame be repaired? Okay Thx for your posting this and all your other videos. Take Care!
Hi there, @PappysBikeLife! There's nothing wrong with riding what you have where you want. I do it all the time because I don't care what other people think. As long as I'm having fun and not hurting anyone, I think it's OK. Thanks for your kind words on my Kona Woo! I still have the 2018 Wozo. I'm working on getting that bike to a rideable state. Kona recently had 50% off on all their Fat Bikes. I truly hope you didn't miss that sale if you're interested in getting a Woo!!! Thanks for checking out this and my other videos!!! 🙌🍻✌️
oh man @@OldManFatBike not only did I miss it but I'm a seasonal worker for Wilderness Voyageurs up at Ohiopyle, Pa I work their "Bike Shak" 3 days a week as a novice Bike mechanic and they rent and sell used Kona Bikes and Kona gives us a pro dela on new bikes but when I left for the winter I did stay in touch and MISSED THAT SALE!!!!!
Wow, you really went all out on this one! Hyd. Brakes and that gear shifter looks pretty cool, too, quick shifting! Bet it's nice and light and agile!! Sorry to hear that you took a bad spill, hope you didn't get to badly hurt, and that all is well with you! Congratulations on the new bike! Stay safe.....at least a little bit 😂 😉 have fun and enjoy your new baby!!
Hey there @micheletrapp449! Thanks for your kind comments! I really do enjoy riding this Fatty!! Got a quick question for ya, Shelly. How did you hear about my accident? I'm just curious 😊 Take care and enjoy the spring like weather!! 🙌✌️
Hi Jens! What a beast of a fatbike! I'm really jealous, especially for your Hydra hubs. I love the sound and performance of those! Hope everything is fine and looking forward to watch a bunch of new videos from you this year! (HNY btw...❤)
Hey there Ulrich, Happy 2024 to you too!! So far this build has been exactly what I thought it would be. Hopefully there will be plenty of new video's this year and beyond.
Hi ,great to see you again, what a fantastic bike you have built, hope it rides as good as it looks,, hope you and family are well, and looking forward for the new year, take care, ride safe
Thanks for stopping by again @lovmadunefatty3421!! So for so good, the Woo rides very nicely. We are doing just fine and hope you and your loved ones can say the same!!

Hi @JohanKlaassen! Sorry to hear about your busted frame' Johan! Kona does have a lifetime warranty on their frames. Did you contact Kona to see about getting a new frame? I, myself think the difference between the Wo and Woo are worth the extra money!! The Farley 9.6 is a nice Fatty for sure! I'm not too crazy about the carbon fiber frame, but that's just me. I would weigh the pro's and con's of each bike you're interested in.
