There is an argument that Lis4 is a story where Chloe is dead. Because, if you played Lis BTS (before the storm), at the end there is a bonus episode where you play Max and Chloe when they were young, and then, at the end of this bonus episode Max actually recorded an audio tape for Chloe to hear, basically Max telling Chloe why she had to go to Seattle. However, many people speculate that future Max recorded this audio tape. Suggesting that Max, after she chose Bay over Bae - which is the wrong ending - Max will rewind time one more time to choose Choe over Arcadia Bay to fix the ending. You could think of Life is Strange 4 as a sequel Also there is a theory that Jefferson was the good guy all along and he was just hired by the Prescotts to kill the 'time traveler' that would destroy Arcadia Bay.. actually, most people don't know this, but there is a secret unreleased audio recording from the creators of Life is Strange, where Nathan is screaming that the storm is coming. Suggesting that Nathan has time travel powers or at least preminitions (the first phase how Max initially developed her time rewinding powers)
on one hand, max and chloe are really the heart of this franchise, and i’d love to see them or just max again. but on the other hand, a lot of fans can get… picky about timelines, and it’d be hard to make a story about max and maybe chloe without referring to the OG game and the choices Max made. so the solution to that would either be A. never refer to the OG game. B. be very vague when referring to the OG game. or C. make it a whole different timeline than the OG game’s was. plus, there’s always the possibility that they absolutely massacre the characters. especially considering how decknine didn’t make the OG game, i’m not so sure i trust them to make max the same character she was originally.
i love life is strange so much but i feel like this game is destined to be a disappointment. if the core beliefs of the game have been rejected to make a less queer series then the game will have lost its soul and it's main audience.
Nope, im scared. If i see the trailer and max in it without chloe, than im gonna un sub and unfollow them everywhere. I wouldnt exept this, Specially because continuing the chloes dead timeline would just be wrong. It isnt a story, its maxs story, and max wouldnt sacrafice chloe. So we shouldnt go that roud and if we do than im gonna turn my back on them
