I worked there back in 1981/82 as a teen. One of my first jobs, sweeping and general upkeep around the mall. I remember eating lunch regularly at the Kmart Cafeteria and Papa Ginos.
Here in Sterling Heights,Michigan and Lakeside Mall opened up in the late 1970's. Lakeside Mall is still but very few stores left. The only anchors that are left is J.C.PENNEY and Macy's. What is left is an abandoned Sears and quite a few empty stores. From what I heard is that the City of Sterling Heights wants to buy Lakeside Mall. J.C.PENNEY and Macy's Department Stores will remain as separate Department Stores. The City of Sterling Heights will demolish Lakeside Mall and the abandoned Sears Building. The City of Sterling Heights wants to build Apartments and Restaurants and Retail. And the City of Sterling Heights wants to add a Park. And rename Lakeside Mall to Lakeside City Center in the near future.
Hello love your content! It is a blast from the past. Could you please do a video on Dedham Mall in Dedham Massachusetts. The anchor stores were Bradlees and Sears. Also the Mystic Mall in Chelsea, Massachusetts one of the anchor stores I believe was a K mart. Also the Somerville Mall or Assembly Mall in Somerville Massachusetts.
Did you check the old La Curacao commercial RUclips you should check it out to put it on your video PS do you like living in Corona you still live there right 🤔👍📲
