Really, they went with "AfkJourney88," huh? You know that's white supremacist shit, right? How did no one at Deerstalker Pictures pick up on that?
The number 88 has particular meaning to a certain hate group. They often place that number at the end of their user names, file names, or other things where they want to signal to each other. The letter H is the 8th letter in the English alphabet. Thus 88 = HH, an abbreviation for a phrase commonly heard in Europe in the 1930s and 40s.
Does "eternal fantasy RPG" relate to how long it takes to max your characters? 🙂

@DenKyuIdeas Notice how when the episode ends it says "One Shot"? That's because this is the "One Shot" format. Aka, one offs that aren't part of the main seasons. Little things, side content, meant to be content between the seasons. For the normal season episodes they very much still do the cutting back and forth between the game characters and the players. @theredeft5319 Same reason for not having the main three every time. The "One Shot" episodes tend to not have all three, just whoever was available for filming. It'll be all three of them again once the next actual main season starts up.

And _that_ , ladies and gentlemen, is why you should always label and document your items...
Or better yet, put some tactile difference on them. In Goblin Slayer for example, the titular character ties string with a different number of knots on each bottle depending on what type of potion is in it. Say, one for a health potion, 2 for a potion of heroism, etc.

I always found that a little weird : you just have to put you potions in different places. A health potion needs to be quickly taken, so you don't put it in a bag. What are in the bag are the support potion you take BEFORE a fight.

Mocking Ranger's doesn't really work when it comes from the person who was fangirling over Drizzt Do'Urden.
The most recent incarnation of Drizzt with class levels (in 3e) had 10 levels of fighter, 5 levels of ranger. And ranger itself has been going downhill since 2e.
@@JackPhoenixCz Beyond class levels being a Ranger is something core to Drizzt's identity in a way fighter isn't. This is still the case in 5E and why you will see Drizzt presented like the following

The ranger should have had to use his bonus action to stare really hard at the the fighter and do an extra 1d8 damage per turn (hi fellow rangers, I love you)

Our campaign has Evandra as NPC that is constant a bit ahead of the party claiming bounties and applying for rewards. They constantly cast sleep on her, so most of the time she is asleep :)

Reminds me of the spike trap mushrooms in the Dungeon Born book. Mushrooms across the cave floor with hidden spikes inside them to step on. The spikes have healing potions on them, healing the barbs into your flesh so you're immobilized for the monsters to attack.
A Ranger being competent in anything. Truly a fantasy world.

Funny, I expected Antrius to pull out a cucumber. (See Long Rest BTS)
Ordinarily I'd say "don't kick someone when they're down", but there's no other position for a Ranger in 5e.
I disagree, some of their spells are actually rather good. They're a self-buffing half-caster, but people always seem to forget the spells when comparing them to fighters.
A Bear Owl is less intimidating than an owl bear. Just a bear head on an owl body and the size of an owl.

- Try to be cool in front of the party, look like a giant goober instead
- Intelligence dump stat that leads to unbelievably bad choices every time
- Always someone in the party that can do anything I do, but better
