  • We knew it was time we developed a transducer deployment arm that is truly designed for the task, and the SwitchBlade Transducer Deployment Arm is exactly that. Unlike other transducer deployment arms of the past the new SwitchBlade Transducer Arm from YakAttack is focused on speed and adjustability. Featuring a hydrodynamic blade design the SwitchBlade causes less water turbulence resulting in a faster and less noisy over-the-side transducer mounting solution. Whether the SwitchBlade Transducer Arm is mounted on top of a YakAttack CellBlok or on the gunwale of your kayak the depth of the transducer is easily adjustable and gives you the ability to get the transducer deep enough for your side scan fish finder. It can be attached to YakAttack GearTrac and most other kayak track systems. Includes hardware for deck mounting or attachment to the YakAttack CellBlok. To learn more about the YakAttack SwitchBlade Transducer Arm or the other YakAttack products used in this video, check out our website: www.yakattack.us/.
YakAttack SwitchBlade Transducer Arm and YakAttack CellBlok are sold separately.

You totally glossed over the hardware needed to attach that final leg of transducer arm that requires the clamp (for us non-mechanical people)!

Mine was really stiff until I got my girlfriend to perform the step seen at 5:40 .... Took her many repeated attempts, but we finally got the job done.

Screwing in that clamp base was a nightmare!

This video is outdated lol. I had to undo screws so many times because I missed adding nuts underneath the base before screwing in the bolts. Hopefully once mine is all rigged up it would have been worth the headache 😂

Say it again louder so they can hear you!! Ridiculous!

Whoa? It took me 2 min. What happened? Just loosely get the first one done up and then go on to the next 2. Dont try to do all three at once you will have nuts rolling all over the floor.
I do have to say they are better off not even printing instructions. Pretty brutal. If you are a weekend warrior you will have fun with these :P

So the bottom attachment just haphazardly slips on and is not fastened?
There is no instruction in this video or the instructions on securing it, and there is no hardware in the clamp in this video

How do I attach the actual transducer to the SwitchBlade? Do I need to buy a Garmin specific kit for it? Have it all setup, but none of the transducer mounts seem to fit on the SwitchBlade. I think this is an awesome idea. Maybe I'm just overlooking something?

Send us an email at info@yakattack.us. We just made a new adapter that will help with compatibility with a few transducers and we will have the adapter kit sent out to you.

Does anyone know if you can mount a tripleshot transducer with this arm?

🤔 Do I turn down the annoying music and then miss some talk of instructions? Or, do I suffer through the annoying music in the hopes of some talk of instructions, and be disappointed at the end? Also, do I really need a 12 inch, T-handled Allen wrench for assembly?

If you aren't using the YakAttack SwitchBlade and have another track-mounted transducer arm or display mount you can attach an 8" piece of our GTSL90, GT90, or GTTL90 GearTrac to the top of the CellBlok.

This was our original CellBlok. The new one that was released not too long ago was an improvement from the original. This updated version of the CellBlok was new for fall 2020 and features an injection-molded construction compared to the original model. The change in material has resulted in a 25% weight reduction and we also increased the size of the cable wraps to accommodate the larger wires used in today's fish finders. The hole pattern on the underside of the lid is unchanged from our original.
