Nice video thanks for sharing!!!! Since this is a motorized boat I'll like to advice you that... when you run from a fishing spot to an other put up your transducer foot because can break (the bracket), you see this bracket is plastic and shall have a water resistance according to the spead of the boat .... Have good time every time!!!! Best regards from Hellas (Greece)
I'm fixin to do the same thing... I bought the 4cv and quickly decided that the 7 is the ticket! I have a 11 ft bass tender so it's basically the same boat. Where Y'all at? Cuz I'm moving there. People here in NY ain't got time for anything- especially for fishing or helping out a Neighbor with a job like this. Thanks for this video! My Unused 4cv is up for sale. * I sold the Striker and picked up an Echomap UHD93SV. Thanks for the information.
Did you put any Silicone behind the mount . I think you made a mistake you said Erick wanted it up front that`s the back . Nice looking depth finder I have this same boat really like it .
Man ! Wish you were in Orlando ! I cant get anyone to help me with this. Bass Pro shop sold it to me. Referred me to their installers, just for them to tell me they don't mount plastic ? What The Bleep !! Not going quietly into the night. Any contacts in The Orlando area that might be able to help? Love The Video
Nice video as always. I also installed the garmin to my canoe. One suggestion I would have is to insulate or protect the battery leads. The wiring is too small and will break easily. I overlapped several progressively larger shrink protectors to beef up the wire thickness especially around the connector points, but also the whole length of the wire. The seems to have solved the problem.
If you can still get in touch with him, could you check back with him and see if his size scan worked well with this mounting position I’m about to do the same place in the same thing with mine and I want to know how well it worked out for him before I drill the holes
Yeah ill be honest and say I do not even know what anyone is referring to with this comment. I guess I called the back of the boat the front in the video? Just a mistake but thanks!
Great instructions Anthony I bought the same fish finder and same transducer do you happen to know if this mount will work with the Garmin Panoptix LiveScope Transducer System
Key is to drill hole smaller than diameter of screw, then hand tighten, I over tight you will strip hole, also tge 3m sealant helps secure and keep water from getting in. Stainless will never rust. Gokd to go man!!!
How does the sidescan work with the transducer off the side. everyone I have talked t says it must be on the back of the boat. It looks like it will work just fine where you mounted it. Is there a difference reading it?
@@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats Thanks.. that helps.. I'm installing a Garmin 73SV on my twintroller and was thinking of putting the transducer off the side for easy reach when I get into shallow water or I'm loading or unloading the boat on to the trailer. BTW..Great install video.
Hey man, I just installed the same fish finder on my kayak and I went with the Yakattack transducer arm. I haven’t gone out on the water yet with it but it seems super unstable. Just wanted to know how that Scotty arm has worked for y’all. Does the transducer stay in place on that arm when it’s in the water?
Not my boat but I believe it worked ok for Eric. He did have an issue when he hit a submerged log though. Im not real familiar w what the yak guys do but I know all the serious ones run electronics so there's a way.
Hey. Eric i need this guy contact information because I the same fish finder but a bass pro pond prowler boat and I would love to have him install mine like your that’s cool man.
Awesome video. I got a bass raider and a humminbird helix 7. Using all your ideas but I'm not figuring out a solution to mount the fish finder to the transducer arm. Parts that came with the graph won't do the job and can't find an adapter online. You got any recommendations??

Thanks so much for helping me install my graph!! I can’t wait to slay some Bass with you in the Pelican 👊🏾👊🏾
No problem man!!!
I just purchased this graph from a buddy that upgraded...I haven’t installed it yet on my tiny boat....I’d love to see a final review on the water!
You everywhere lol
put a damn spray liner in that truck
This was an awesome video! Thank you for all the specifics!

Nice clean install! Looking forward to watching you guys fish together.
Very nice instructional video!!! Thanks!!!
Thank u 👊
waiting for my 9sv to come in. great video
Good choice!
@@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats Man this REALLY helped my install brother. Great video. I would be lost without this.
Looks very professional 👍🏾👍🏾
Did you hook the trolling motor to the same battery as the fish finder?
awesome that you and eric are working together!
Nice tutorial that helped me with the same project on my Pelican
nice! Thanks! 👊👊

If you look again he did mount it on the front of the boat. He put the battery in the front
My bad it’s in the back

Very professional install and video, thinking about the same thing for my Kayak. Appreciate it.
How has that transducer mount held up over time?
Definitely the back of the boat. Cool video though. Thank you!

Off the top of my head i do not know whithout further research.
Great videos guys. That Garmin is nice, and so is that tiny boat. I kinda want one now.
"Da vinci code on us"😂🤣
Gave me hope for my plastic pond praler
Very helpful video, thanks . Bob Webb
Hey man love your channel!!
I love that you love my channel!
Love the vids
Thanks cuz
the rubber washer is so you can adjust the angle of the transducer
You should do a video on the overall cost of your jon boat
Lost count a long time ago but roughly 2-3 grand in it
How does the screws hold up being just screwed into thin plastic? I worry the may come loose or strip out of the holes.
Key is to drill hole smaller than diameter of screw, then hand tighten, I over tight you will strip hole, also tge 3m sealant helps secure and keep water from getting in. Stainless will never rust. Gokd to go man!!!
Need you Mr.Jones to install my unit it’s the same one but on a bass pond prowler same kind of boat almost.
I'm in Ga if you get boat to me, no problem!!!
@@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats I’m from Ga also
The only reason Im going to make one from PVC is so I can flip it up out of the water quick if I need to
Where did you buy your screws from
Why did you put it in the back of boat
Would that ram mount fit the helix 7?
i cannot find the extensions you mentioned

I don't believe it is an issue because transducer is lower than bottom of boat in water. Lots of kayak guys run similar set up. I'm no expert though

hey man me and you should go fish sometime i fish atjefferson city lakes all the time and see atypical all the time there
Don't fish as much as I'd like to but I do go to Jefferson some times! I'm sure I'll run into you w Eric there at some point!
@@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats that would be amazing
@@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats Hey bro do you think you could give me some info on some jon boat tournaments around
Whats the mount u use on the scotty for the transducer
I believe the mount is in the video description. Link to it that is.
How would I build a deck for my boat if it dose not have a bench seat
Hey bud check out my how to video it has a step by step on how to build a deck for this boat.

Seems weird to put the fish finder in the back of the boat facing the rear...
He sits in back and uses the trolling motor to pull the boat. His preference

awesome that you and eric are working together!
