    For This Video:
For the best viewing experience, use a TV or computer to see the setup clearly. If I’m going too fast, you can slow it down by clicking on the gear in the bottom right corner, selecting Playback Speed, and choosing 0.25, then mute the sound.
    Common Issues with Gwatch Wear:
If you're not getting your glucose readings into Gwatch, here are some common issues:
The username must be an email address, not a phone number.
The password is generally fine, but some users report that special characters at the end may cause issues.
Make sure there are no spaces after your email or password. A tip is to add a space and then remove it, or backspace once and re-enter your password.
If you’re still having problems, feel free to ask for help in the [GWatch User Group on Facebook]( / gwatchapp .
    Watch Face Information:
In this video, I use *Wearable Widgets* as my watch face, which helps me read my blood sugar with poor eyesight. Gwatch also comes with two built-in watch faces that are superior to Wearable Widgets, as they have alarms you can set up directly in the watch face. You can find more information [here](github.com/tru....
    Setup Compatibility:
This setup works for me on Galaxy Watch 5 and 6, and I understand it works on the Galaxy Watch 4 as well. I use a Samsung phone in this setup. The best part is that the Dexcom G7 app is "left alone" for normal use, so no worries!
    Offline Support:
If I knew then what I know now, I would prioritize offline support with xdrip+, as I do not have reliable Wi-Fi or data where I live. You can check out that setup in this video: [Offline Support Setup]( • Dexcom G7 to Samsung G... ).
    Software and Setup Precautions:
Once it’s set up, I need to be cautious about phone updates that could break the software. I disable updates for any diabetes-related apps in the Google Play Store and suspend Android updates until I'm ready to deal with potential issues. I also maintain a secondary phone and watch setup, just in case something goes wrong. I can’t work live without seeing my blood glucose on my watch, so I’m always proactive and have a backup plan.
    Software Used:
*Gwatch Wear:* Installed on both phone and watch. Available at the Google Play Store. If you have trouble installing from the phone, you can download it directly from the watch's app store. More info can be found [here](github.com/tru...) and in the [GWatch User Group on Facebook]( / gwatchapp .
A big thank you to Juraj Antal "Trupici" for his amazing work and for providing this free community app!
*Wearable Widgets:* Also installed on both phone and watch, available in the Google Play Store. If you have installation issues, try downloading it directly from the watch’s app store.
    ABOUT ME:
I’m a type 1 diabetic trying to find solutions for offline blood glucose readings on my watch. I see a significant need for support on social media, so I’m sharing my results. This video is experimental only, and results may vary. I posted it for future reference, but decided to make it public for anyone interested.
