New Sub here, I watched your Citidel story creation video and came here. Love your jouney with story. So much fun to have with tarot. I totally agree about the Tarot of the Abyss being a very heavy with story. It reminds me of Anne Bishop's Black Jewel book series. Strong associations with the books, that I would find it hard to think of different stories. Thanks for the book recommendation! My decks that my brain wants to create stories with.... Hoodoo Tarot; WUK tarot and Animal Oracle; Tarot Archétypal. The last one is a Marseille deck and surprised me with the scenarios it easily created. X
Thanks for watching - I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's interesting that you can make story from a Marseille. I may have to try this! For me the WU decks are so inspiring for poetry, quite moody poetry! 🥰
Just wanted to say hi. 😊 I recently found your channel it showed up on me fed. Loving your content thus far. Thank you. One of the things that might help especially when you are working with the Pagan Other World deck is to remind yourself that it’s; its own world and from a time when that’s how those people had to cloth themself to stay warm; maybe it will ease your mind a little bit and make it easier then just thinking about it as animal skins. I am a hugh animal lover so I get your point, but maybe mine will be helpful to you as well. 💖✨ The Tarot of the Abyss is a favorite of mine as well. I think and you can definitely do a little research Anna Tatarian reach more numerological so her lovers my take on a different meaning than how others read the card. Of course these are just thoughts and may not resonate, but just thought that might help or may not. Anyway, I just want to thank you for your Contant and putting yourself out there. I’m really enjoying it and I just wanted to really thank you.
Thanks so much for your comment - I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed watching ☺ I do see what you mean with the Pagan Otherworld. This is how I think about the skins in the Wild Wood, but they are just everywhere in the Pagan Otherworld - with heads... I'll see how it goes when I get reading with it! Thanks again for commenting🙏
I absolutely loved this video, I dont know this Italian Author so I will hopefully find his books, the latest cover for the castle of crossed destinies is aweful, I hope I can find an better cover. I have alot of your deck choices and you remind me to get them out and just enjoy them. I hope you will share on your IG too. The POW is a personal favourite, I look forward to hearing more of your journey with it. much love Gxxx
I meant to focus on Pagan Otherworlds this month but then it didn't happen because of getting distracted with work. Can I ask what you like about it most? Or maybe you have made a video about it. It feels quite magical to me, so I've been wanting to wait until I can really appreciate it.
@@WildEarthWays I do have a walk through early on but I don't think I've done an update and it isn't calling to be worked with so although I've just edged it ...I will wait till I'm summoned 🤣 it has, for me, a very earthy vibe ...it has my favourite queen of swords and it feels like you are stepping into a medieval story book ...I love ancient and medieval history but I'm not an authority like you ...I would wait till you feel ready and listen to its voice ...I think you will find its energy very gentle xxx
Hi there! 🙋🏻♀️❤️ Thanks for sharing this fun tag! 😀 I do have most of the decks that are being featured here in this video. And, I do love your opinions on why these decks are great for storytelling. 🥰🥰🥰❤️ You made me see my decks in a new light~ so thank you! Keep it up! I love to see what you have next! ❤ Sending tons of love & good vibes your way! With Love & Light, 🔮Redsyleen🔮
Loved this video and your lovely gentle style. So thought provoking! Especially the Pagan Otherworlds, I always saw it as just a pip deck but I can see what you mean about stepping into the scene. Tjat 2 of swords invites you to choose if you want to put the blindfold on and go deep into yourself for example.
Hi Kat ~ this is the second video on your channel that I've watched and I really like your approach. It is similar to Silvia's on Fairlight Tarot. She is also a newer Tarot-tuber and uses her channel often as a teaching tool to show how she uses her cards. Anyway, if you've not seen her channel yet, you may want to take a look ~ I find you both have a similar vibe and I'm all about learning, not just watching people show walk-throughs of decks. Keep going, I appreciate your offerings!
Thank you for commenting 🙏 It means a lot to know that people are finding value in this. I also recently came across Fairlight Tarot, thanks to her wonderful video on decks inspired by Japanese folktales 😍 It's nice to hear we have a similar vibe!
I have a friend who I have very casually read for before and she referred to it as telling stories so I loved this. I've read Invisible Cities but never come across The Castle of Crossed Destinies, I'll have to get myself a copy because that is such a cool concept. I've had my eye on Tarot of the Divine because it seems like it would be such a vibrant reader based on so many stories. This was so interesting, thank you so much for sharing!
Telling stories is a wonderful way to describe tarot reading - that makes so much sense to me. Invisible Cities is hard to live up to, but The Castle of Crossed Destinies is really interesting as a kind of puzzle. Thanks very much for your comment ☺
This is a very fun and inquisitive video! And you did bring up an interesting point for this artist for the deck (black n white) that the more positive cards like The Lovers and the Ten of Cups are a bit with a moody sentiment! -Silvia NY
This was lovely to sit and listen to.. I love the tarot of the abyss and think its fantastic for story telling..considering its black and white I find it extremely emotional and intuitive. I subscribed 💜🌻
Thanks for subscribing! Yes, Tarot of the Abyss is emotionally very rich. There are some cards in there I react to strongly, more than in other decks 🖤
What an amazing video! This is certainly the kind of content I love to watch about tarot! Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you so much! ❤

Adore the story of the pub! It is a great writing prompt! Lovely choices 🍀

Exactly - it feels so magical, as if the objects are held out to us. Thanks for your comment! 🙏💚

Brilliant video! Clearly you know your stuff and actually use your decks. I've subbed.
Thanks, Angela 🙏
I really enjoyed this video, it also gave me another perspective for wanting to get the Pagan Otherworlds deck. :) loving your content so far!
Thank you so much! I haven't actually used the Pagan Otherworlds much yet, but have it lined up for next month's deck. I'm still not sure about it 🤔

Thanks, Silvia! I have to say I prefer more romance in those cards 😄
Nice video. Love to see more on the stories in that book and the storytelling technique in reading that you use with one of these decks.
Thanks for watching! Yes, I'd like to return to this topic 💚
