I was 10 when I got this CD. It’s the foundation of my music taste along with the original Scream; The Crow and Romeo & Juliette soundtracks. This song is a serious throwback.
I remember being blown away by this soundtrack when I heard it. My little brother was way into Batman and bought this soundtrack. I was bored and popped the cassette in the deck and fell in love with Polly Jean Harvey by her voice alone. She should have been a Superstar. She is to me.
Biggest mistake I made as a kid was wanting Seal's album solely for Kiss from a Rose. If I had just purchased this soundtrack it would have fast tracked my fondness for The Flaming Lips, Sunny Day Real Estate, and PJ Harvey.
When I was a little kid I used to listen to this album in the living room of my families apartment. I would rock out and do somersaults all over the floor. Like a tiny psychopath. So yes, I agree this album is awesome.
I had heard of PJ Harvey prior to hearing her on this sndtrk, but never heard her music before. Pleasant surprise to hear this. Sought her out after that.
YO TENIA ESTE CD ORIGINAL.. A LOS 13, 12.. POR AHI, CUANDO SALIO LA PELI.. AHORA ME DOY CUENTA QUE TRAE ALTAS BANDAAS!!!! Y YO SOLO LO COMPRE POR EL TEMA DE U2... QUE BOLUDO!!!
Not U2 or Seal, they were to promote the film but all others were, tho' only for a few seconds maybe half a minute behind the action. This Soundtrack is special in that all the artists tracks were remixed with the same atmosphere & sound effects as the film had so this really has depth & emotion in it.

AcidHouseKid Natural Born Killers was!
This was literally the first tape I ever bought - I lucked out!
The sountrack, for whoever bought it before seeing the movie, certainly suggested a much darker film than the one we got.
Definitely!

This song was one of those treats you really didn't expect when you were at the cash register buying the soundtack. Great tune.
The film was bad, But the soundtrack was fantastic.. It not only got me hooked on Nick Cave, but also got me hooked on Covers!

This song is great when you're home alone with coffee and cigarettes and the rain pouring outside.

This is pretty-much "Naked Cousin", which ended up on The Crow: City of Angels soundtrack.
@932sd seriously. i didnt mind the slight corniness of the movie, but i do wish it was better. Total agreement with you on this awesome soundtrack.

Aber die Musik ist echt mega geil.

Who's playing Three card Montey tonight? I used to have a Montey like the one on Smokeing Ace's. Why you ask?

An amazing PJ's song for one of the worst movie of the 90's.
