    Love your content - though I agree with your point for "working silently" it does highlight a fundamental culture flaw with corporate environments in that they aren't set up for introverts. Some of the best communicators I've worked with have also been those who have added the least value, but solely get by on the "gift of the gab". Corporate cultures need to seriously shift to be more inclusive to those inclined towards introversion. Just because someone is quiet doesn't mean they're incapable of success

      You’re so right! The corporate world is not great for introverts. This is the main reason I started a side career as a freelance photographer so it can become my main career when I’m financially stable

    I completely agree with your point around communication and not working silently leading to more career opportunities, however it’s such a shame that our corporate structure has evolved to reward this rather than leaders recognising and rewarding true talent, instead it’s easier to just listen to those who are good with personal marketing

    Nischa, you have no idea how much you're helping people around the world. I downloaded your spreadsheet to manage my monthly expenses, and it’s made a positive difference. I used to track everything in my notebook, but I couldn’t get real-time visibility like I can now. My goal is to be dept free by June 2025.

    Love this advise...but I tried this and didn't work. I did a lot of work and created some roadmaps for innovation and unfortunately my company didn't want to shift me over because it was a much higher level position. It was a big disappointment and my boss ended up getting the job. This is the problem working for a company for 26 years as an engineer.

    This is all good advice. I’m 12 years in to my career. Some further advice is do not get pigeonholed into something niche, as this will limit opportunities. Always be ready to move on, practice interview techniques and questions… the job market is unstable these days and layoffs are always around the corner.. further to this, make sure you are always learning new skills

    This is all great advice. I have really excelled in my career through communicating and making sure I align my career work with company objectives. A challenge I run into, however, is a fairly aggressive moonlighting clause in my contract. My employer basically won't allow me to do any other work outside of my primary employment. Have you had any experience with this or do you know of resources I can look to on this?

    • @RedMagicMobileGamer
      @RedMagicMobileGamer 8 дней назад +4

      You've likely never worked a stressful high-paying job, the level of stress you experience in a peanut job is nothing compared to a high-paying job (aside from the financial struggles). I think it's very odd that many low-wage people assume that high-wage people never worked a low-wage job.
      Your problems aren't solved once you get a high-paying job, she provides the next steps to financial freedom, an overall healthy life, and career after acquiring a high-paying job. If you're not in this state nor intend to get there, then you don't have any business critiquing this video.
      In fact I think her advice in this video can help peanut income people get more opportunities for better jobs

    Respectfully, career planning is now a waste of time with AI and automation. What do you think about my view given i am considered a professional (an engineer)? I really don't see a point to saving as pensions will collapse as no one will have a salary to contribute into them. It will be a blood bath in the next 4-5 years.

      @WhatIsRealAnymore 7 дней назад

      @@inspireandempower-o4r I see that book is about being positive. That is not my issue. I'm an engineer. I'm a realist. Called negative because I am cold in my reasoning. There is no hope of work or jobs. There is a chance of abundance. But that rides on us assuming the rich will be benevolent. I just want to gauge what economists and people in finance are thinking the future will look like.
