Let's appreciate Stephanie the official voice of mirabel cuz although she was sick she still sang and even though her voice didn't wanna work, she did it!
for real! Her dedication is really admirable she could have very easily canceled since she’s the lead but she still gave it her all. And despite a little strain I don’t think she sounds as bad as people are making it out to be

Oh! I was wondering if she was sick for this given the way her voice would cut out at times and just refuse to hit some of the notes while being fine with others. It's so frustrating when your voice will just not cooperate with you like that. She did a really good job despite it though!
this! I genuinely couldn’t tell if that was intentional or not but it emphasizes the stress the character feels in that moment so much more. It’s more like a rap in the movie wheras here it actually sounds like she’s running out of stuff to say and avoiding the question more which I LOVE. One thing about Stephanie is she’s a phenomenal actor even when singing

Stephanie Beatriz did AMAZING for being sick. Everybody sang great, and I want to point out that there's a reason a ton of celebrities just lip sync to prerecorded tracks at concerts. Singing live consistently is hard! I don't know how Broadway performers manage it.
There's so much potential for story expansion and seeing what they've done with Frozen I'm confident they'd have a great way to handle the special effects necessary for a lot of the scenes. For one thing, Bruno would definitely need his own song (I'd have it start as a dark reprise of "We Don't Talk about Bruno" before transitioning into a new composition). And then give Camilo a chance to, like, actually exist as a character?

She didn't even talk all day so that she could rest her voice properly and be able to sing her best despite of the circumstances. (know it from Jessica Darrow's Instagram stories) And I agree she sounded so good despite of it, like she practically lost her voice at the end of Welcome To The Family Madrigal (still did her best to do justice to the song!), but in Waiting For A Miracle she's just perfect again, like wooow. And I imagine she could somewhat relate to those lyrics, cause it must have been tough for her not just physically but emotionally as well, wanting to be part of this amazing thing but her voice refusing to let her do her best. I have such a great respect for her pushing through and even singing in the very end of the show, when she could have just bowed and that's it... She knew how much this meant for so many people who went to see and all of the people who will watch it later.

Everyone did so amazingly in this! I love musicals so this made me so excited. I do feel for Stephanie (as Mirabel), her voice was kind of cracking sadly and I honestly feel for the whole original cast. We do have to remember that the whole cast is voice actors and not people who are fully properly trained to perform live (mainly for musicals) so let's not blame them for it! I also kind of think that the people who set this up might have not focused enough on prepping the voices of the cast for a long musical-like performance which might have also played a factor in it. They sounded so good though and I am really happy this actually happened.

Because I see, they replaced Sebastian Yatra with Andres Cepeda to sing Dos Oroguitas.
I was there too but much worse seats! I regret waiting too long to purchase. A different experience from far back. Can't wait to see how it looks on Disney+ in December.
I'm surprised. The whole dance that starts at 06:48 is truly Colombian. By the way, that type of dance and culture is typical in the southeast, between the Andes and the Amazon, and it is a shared culture that came from Venezuela. Today, they have exactly the same culture in that region as in the Venezuelian counterpart, to the point that when you interact with them, you don't know where they are from. Beautiful. Thanks, Disney and Miranda for showing these pretty aspects of my country.
Yeah it’s great and it’s nice she wears something she’s comfortable in, but I think it would’ve been even better if she dressed like Luisa, bonus points for a muscle suit and curly hair wig
Poor Bruno... My favorite line is “you are the real gift kid,let us in”. It sums up the message of encanto. He stayed in the darkness during the whole song, when he is the most important character after abuela and Mirabel. I know that that man isn’t the original voice actor, but I feel that he wasn’t comfortable at all because they didn’t give him enough space.

Absolutely my favorite movie 😭😭😭
Diane sounds exactly like her recording. The voice on that woman is unreal.
Same with the other cast
@@Meela9088 not really
She Sang the whole thing sick!!! I love her!
This was amazing!!!! Can they A) bring Encanto to Broadway asap and B) do this for more animated Disney movies!!
ANDRES CEPEDA SINGING DOS ORUGUITAS? GOSH SO CUTE 🥺😭
Esto fue tremendamente hermoso :'3
Jessica Darrow is incredible!
I hope this becomes a musical with the actual cast from the movie - they’re all perfect as their characters in live action!!!!
Awesome
Amazing musical show, Colombia te quiero tanto...por éso eres un encanto! 🇨🇴🎇🎆🎇🎆🎆🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊
I'm not crying, you are 😭😭😭
This is what I want when I say a broadway musical of this movie
OMGGGGG I LOVE THIS SO MUCHHHH JESSICA AND STEPHANIE AND OMGG GI CANT EVEN CHOOSE BROOO
Can we talk about Jessica Darrow’s purple suit? Coz she looks fab!
Yeah it’s great and it’s nice she wears something she’s comfortable in, but I think it would’ve been even better if she dressed like Luisa, bonus points for a muscle suit and curly hair wig
They KILLED it with Bruno omg
Que orgullo ver cómo Disney represento a mi hermoso país gracias 🇨🇴❤️
I love Diane's performance💜 sounds like from the movie 💜
Thank you so much for filming this. I love live theatre - clearly the disney vivo doesn't get it.
Better than the oscars
wow! how do people hear about these events first coco and now encanto! cant wait to see whats next! 😮🥰
Amazing!!! Loved all of the perfomances!
