When you think about it the flowers behind the cats are either really big or the cats are super tiny, which is absolutely adorable❣️ 😍

There is just something so satisfying about paint markers nothing else can quite satisfy. Love your kitties, both painted and real. XD
I think it's the utterly solid, flat and smooth perfection of the paint right away that's very satisying.
I believe Moriah Elizabeth calls it 'drainting' as in painting/drawing. As silly as that sounds, with the art supplies we use nowadays, we could definitely use some new descriptive words.
I have the same issue with keeping plants alive. It's really a tragedy how many cacti have met their demise at my hands. All three paintings/drawings are lovely 🙂

You know honestly I had to talk to my husband about your question about "Is this a drawing or a painting?" Because you're RIGHT, Katt, when you're Drawing with Paint Markers, which is it? We discussed it and concluded that this is BOTH a drawing AND a painting AT THE SAME TIME. There you go. It's both a drawing and a painting. ♥

@@BumbleteaArt Moriah mentions drainting pretty much in every video where she uses POSCA pens. Its kinda her "thing" like how she pronounces "puffy paint" as "puppy paint" when using that in her squishy makeovers. 🤣

these drawings turned out so cute i can’t even pic a favorite. but my favorite part of the whole video is the way phoenix was sitting in the couch lol i have seen cats sit or lay in many positions but def never that way lol it was the cutest ever he was like a lil person just chillin on the couch haha cats 🐱 are the absolute greatest

Loved the blue one with the yellow and orange flower behind it. My favorite flower is the sunflower and those can be yellow, orange and even red!
Tape it to a big drawing clip board. I can't handle not tilting my drawing. My professor told me long ago, " you seem to be struggling, maybe you would benefit from a big clipboard for watercolors so you can tilt". Works perfectly. Thank you for the guilty pleasure posca art. It's nice to watch these at night and relax before bed. ☺👍❤

I love these. Kitty number one is my favourite, the shape language and the sunny orange in the middle are both super inviting to me 🧡 this makes me seriously want some paint markers because the tones are genuinely so smooth in a way that can be kind of hard to acheive with regular acrylic paints. This style is definitely something i want to try out, it's like digital art on paper which is both super satifying to look at, and for me easier to make, because I only do digital art on my phone, and I have to wrestle with the program quirks and the screen size a fair bit

The blue kitty is my favourite, but of course they’re all totally charming! As for house plants, i have been keeping them with a lot of success for the past year, but mostly because i bought all house plants that enjoy being left alone. Ha ha ha “water once a week you say? ... yes please, ill take them all!”

I will admit I’ve never been one for any kind of paint but watercolors, though these paint markers have such graphic effects! It almost looks digital and that’s impressive

I have about 20 houseplants haha so yes I can keep them alive! There's a lot of knowledge out there on house plants - join a facebook group and get ideas from them on which plants would work well for your home. Light, humidity, watering, and soil are all really important considerations for each plant. :) Philodendrons do well almost anywhere, snake plants do too.

My younger sibling bought me an orchid (as I had stated that I really liked them so it became my birthday present.) it has lived through its first shedding and will bloom soon! It’s been alive for almost a year now.

I work w a lot of posca pens at my job and we use a hairdryer to dry the paint in between colors so it doesn’t smudge !

Hi @Kattvalk my mom is teaching me gardening and repotting. I suggest you look at the info on the back of the name tag that usually comes with a plant. They provide info on details such as do the plants like lots of sun, water, fertilizer etc. And sometimes the water can be too acidic and will need to aerate (Sit) for a day or two before using to help evaporate the acidic levels. Some plants like plant food once a week too. And they may need some bug spray if they have little gnats harassing them. We’re not experts, but we hope this helps with your plant journey. We have tomatoes, strawberries, clematis (2 of them) Hibiscus (also 2) and a bunch of other flowers. Also, your cat paintings with the Posca pens are so cute!

I really like all three of the kitties but if I had to pick just one I would definitely pick the Anemone kitty! he's chonky, showing us his belly with a truly delightful expression and we get to see the sweet little paw-beans as well! 🥺🥰
As far as plant killing goes I have some experience sadly 😭 but what changed the game for me was buying a "soil hygrometer", a little pal that measures the humidity of the soil of your potted plants (some even measure the amount of light in your room and PH of the soil and do not require batteries). It really helped to avoid over-watering and the roots rotting! 🌱✨

Another great video. I love all of these flower kitties! The posca pens make these finished pieces look digital, so smooth. As for plants you may be overwatering, I found that was an issue for me haha

Cute pieces! Paint markers are fun to use. I never know what to call them either though, lol. I can keep some plants alive but end up killing others. Dracaenas are fairly easy to keep.
I've kept plants alive in the past with no problem, although I haven't had any plants for a while.
And as a data point, if you want to turn your paper around while you're working on a piece, I have no problem with that. I turn my paper while I'm drawing too. :D

I always used to kill plants too, but I think I was overwatering them. Now I always check the soil a centimeter below the surface instead of the top to see whether it's actually dry or it's just the sun stealing the moisture of the top!
Oil markers are great for painting on stones/rocks, glass, ceramics, varnished wood and other impermeable surfaces.

They may not be perfect, but they are definitely PURRfect!
That first one reminded me of Bulbasaur and it gave me a fun idea you could try if you like: Doing a series of cats as pokemon. You could either put them in pokemon costumes or, and this is the idea I prefer, combine them with the Pokemon themselves. ^-^ I think Poscas would be amazing for that.
