Awesome video 👌 Super 🆒️ 👌 I just wish it was longer 😪 very very interesting indeed 🥰Love the Audi😍my son was begging me to get in touch with you and buy it of you. But you seem to have other plans for it. If you change your mind please let me know and consider it sold as is with no return or guarantee 💯 🙏 Thanks for sharing this awesome video with us 👌👍👏💯❤
You might think you're saving money by going to auctions directly.. But auction cars often come with issues, not to mention being run up on the buying price plus fee's and all the best if you don't have a professional garage setup hydraulic lift etc... You might find the cost of putting your auction purchase on the road, could be far more than going to a dealership like the Car Pitch, at least you are also buying three month warranty and buying into Lee's experience of what cars are good and not so good!!
Dont worry it happens to the best of us, last year i was in Scotland looking for a seat leon fr for a customer, found a good one after 2 days of auctions but the prices where that good i ended up coming back with 7 more cars i never intended buying
I ws looking for a manual gallardo coupe with no more than 37-38k miles Ended up buying a mk2 rs2000 , Sierra Cosworth and a mk3 focus rs … got talked outta the lambo by mates saying nobody can fix that when it goes wrong 😂
Thats brilliant - you're a hard nosed businessman but with a quick rev of a V8 you can't stop yourself being a bloke!! SOLD!! Magic. You'll not lose on that anyway.
Good for you Lee! The A6/S6 is the only shape Audi saloon I would consider buying. Good luck with it! 👍🏻 That Discovery sounded like my Mum’s old Singer seeing machine.
Li, there's your weakness laid bare: blue mid-metalic large V-engined sports saloons on the cheap. that Audi would look good keeping the Maserati company centre stage on The Car Pitch. roast dinner with a can of Pepsi Max - pure class mate
That's how its always been far as I can remember turn up and register yourself and bid. To many conspiracy theories on RUclips and twitter. Well that was interesting buy you did at auction. Can see a healthy profitable outcome soon in weeks to come. Nice video and explanations.
Hopefully the engine light isn’t a misfire due to knackered turbo and it ingesting parts of the compressor wheel. V8 TFSI have a habit of blocking turbo oil feed screens and lunching themselves.
Some recon the cortina was cheap at £7000. I bought a new M2 Cortina 1600E in 1968 for £970. Bought a new 1600 GT Capri in 1970 for 1200.Bought a new MK3 Cortina 2 litre GXL in 1971 for £1400. Bought a new Austin 100 in 1965 for £650. None of them broke down and dumped me on the grass verge unlike recent cars I have owned.
Happened all the time up here in Scotland the auctioneers knowingly allowing the dealers/traders to bid up their own cars ,mind you thats why they arent there any more
@midnightrider287 Yeh, they are always looking at Mr Invisible 😂 , once I was in a empty hall and he was looking all over the place taking bids..hilarious
I've had four Audis - all new and fully serviced by Audi. Excellent cars in the 90's and 00's but after that far too fragile and expensive to maintain/repair. A real shame but I won't buy another. A friend in Germany explained they were basically fleet cars and Audi/BMW/Merc are essentially the Ford/Vauxhall of the 90's. Good luck with the S6....!
You've bought just about the fastest way to get from A to B with no hassle. Phenomenal cars. Get in, add fuel, get out when your day is done feeling moderately fresh. Tell no-one how good it is, just enjoy it in your own time.
What is the plan for the evokes? Will you retail them or trade them on? That Audi S6 looks really good, and I hope we get a video of it. Enjoy driving it, and I get why you wouldn't retail. Have a good Friday and weekend Lee.
Our first family car was a cortina mk1 1969/70. Cost £560 I think? New. The whole family went and my father carried his briefcase so he looked important 😂. We bought a house for 11k in Reading in those days!
I thought the Disco was chuffing. I was thinking injectors, Then he revved it 😂ffs. Massive difference between seeing a vehicle online and being in the room
All powerful Beemers, Mercs & Audi's look an absolute bargain until they break, jag/Landys too they've shed 75/80% of their retail value and have to be trade auctioned because they are all potential moneypits and for the average Joe uneconomically to repair 🙄
Stick to my 1.1 does the job.. auctions are risky... Roads are roads...cars come with know issues good luck at this time of year .. little tough .but some decent stock.
Seemed a bit cheeky to not drive the discovery into the hall untill the on line bidders (and presumably harder to hear the engine sound) had decided it was a bargin and bought it.
Evoques going on market place lately for 5-6k. A lot Those Kias also sell for 3k on marketplace , okay not autos but the cheaper tax and insurance 1.7s mainly
Personally Lee I would have kept it for yourself Your Masserati can't be used in these weather conditions and you have to be gentle with it in Winter but the Audi has All Wheel Drive so you could still have a V8 in the Winter. The Audi is the everyday Drivers car you can enjoy understandably your a Bussiness Man so you have to make money and the Mrs might not have been to happy.
I'd be very dubious about buying a classic car from an auction. It sounds like it had a problem that they couldn't fix and decided to get rid of it at auction. I would definitely like buy that car for nostalgia value
HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS ONE 👍👍👍👍
134k miles, that alone would of stopped me buying it. Good luck with it.
Certainly will mate, all the lads in one video
Great!
G3 long video sir all video good g3 car auction. 👍. Bedford g3 car auction video long video sir big fan

Couldn’t believe it when you said you’d bought an S6, couldn’t believe I hadn’t spotted it either! 😅
That's crying out for a you and Dave collaboration, you tune it and Dave blacks it 🚗💨
That Cortina looked sweet. Nice price too. Someone's done well there.

Yeah, they're going through the auction for a reason.
@@earnestbunbury2103 It might simply be that it's too old or the wrong make for the dealer that's taken it in part exchange to retail to the public.
Great video Lee 👍,I was in touch with g3 about public access and they told me exactly that. Anyone can visit their auctions
2 words that make a car buyer break out in a cold sweat - puretec & ecoboost 😮
And JLR 2.0 diesel

Thanks TCG, they had no Bollinger left so went for a Pepsi max instead 👍😁
@@carukchannel so long as you had your little finger out I doubt anyone will have noticed 😁
Nice one mate, looks a beautiful car, good luck whatever you decide to do with it
Great content Lee. Best on Ytube.
Certainly enjoyed the video, Audi A6S looked great 👍👍
The roar from that s6 would’ve made me smile too and that’s what it’s alll about sometimes, good video lee
I think I’d go to the Aston Barclay every time, just for the complimentary lunch !. 🥪

They feed the misinformation to deter competition = cheaper prices for them.
Hopefully the engine light isn’t a misfire due to knackered turbo and it ingesting parts of the compressor wheel. V8 TFSI have a habit of blocking turbo oil feed screens and lunching themselves.
Love the S6, love the V8 too, this added extra fun to your channel. Another great video, Lee.
Thanks 👍

The brave man makes the wonga....you'll do well with the Audi🙌
Shifting metal guy will buy it.
@TheAllyMor wasn't he at the Auction?
Them auctioneers were ghost bidding waiting for the one genuine bid to stitch him up.. seen it happen many a time at auctions
Happened all the time up here in Scotland the auctioneers knowingly allowing the dealers/traders to bid up their own cars ,mind you thats why they arent there any more
It's legal to take 'bids from the wall' up to reserve price which jve always thought is ridiculous
@midnightrider287 Yeh, they are always looking at Mr Invisible 😂 , once I was in a empty hall and he was looking all over the place taking bids..hilarious
I enjoy these auction videos Lee.

That Audi had a £11,000 retail price,so I'm sure you could move it on for £7,000 to £7,500 without touching a bolt.
Great video as always 😊
Aston Barclay Wakefield, is their gateman as friendly as your local Aston Barclay gateman??
We did not meet him, but I doubt he can live up to the legend that is Andy the gateman 🤣👍
Great to see you there mate! The Sportage went for mad money
Thanks yes great to meet in person james. 👍
Great video Lee really enjoyed the content.

Thanks 👍
Nice Mk 2 Cortina , I learned to drive in a mk1 1965 , DAV 109 C . at the time I liked mk2 which came out 1966 but now I prefer lines of mk1 .
The Cortina was screaming for it's Rostyle wheels.
👍
Agreed . Them wheels looked proper 70's kiddy boy racer
Period accessory
the S6 is a beaut at that price............keep at it!
Thanks Lee for this brrrrrrrrrrr ❄❄🌨🚗🚘👍👍
Variety is the spice of life mate 👌
Please do a review vid on the S6
Yes I will cover it
@ thanks
Great video, thanks Lee.
Thanks andy 👍
Love the channel Lee I was surprised you brought that car but good luck to you if you can make a bit on it
That oh no moment, when you said ‘I don’t know what the f**k I’ve just done!’ 😂
Sorry Lee that was hilarious.
I do love your channel ......
Another great video Lee.Think the Audi S6 needs to be the new company vehicle.
Loaner when cars are in for warranty repairs? :)
Great format on this video.
Thanks mark
Great video as usual Lee, do miss the old Aston Barclay ones of you buying cheapies for your pitch tho
Coming soon!

You've made the other RUclipss look scint buying all these.
What a nice Audi A6 you need to do a video so on that let’s listen to the engine roar go on Lee do one
Another great video
Used to love going to the auctions ... now not even allowed its shite.
Audi s6 looks boss
That Audi was definitely an impulse buy! 😂👍
Joe B did it on an S4. Thing cost him 5k work after sold 2k margin. Sad us dealers cannot stock these. Only by the heart not the head can we buy them.
Brilliant video
I reckon putting the S6 next to the Maserati will attract a different crowd, maybe do able as passing trade is closed for the moment?
Tax on diesels, oh my good god, that's why they're going cheap.
I haven’t commented for a bit but great video Lee nice Audi man I live near Wakefield bonus
Thanks Nick
Seemed a bit cheeky to not drive the discovery into the hall untill the on line bidders (and presumably harder to hear the engine sound) had decided it was a bargin and bought it.
I think it was more the fact it was smoking really bad, don't think you would be able to see the auctioneer 🤣
Evoques going on market place lately for 5-6k. A lot Those Kias also sell for 3k on marketplace , okay not autos but the cheaper tax and insurance 1.7s mainly
Haha, that was hilarious, bidding hacking along, one bid, auctioneer gives up pushing for more bids and shouts selling and hammer down in short order.
Nice content today Lee

Thanks
the woolfrace wheels let down the 1600E cortina!
When I thought I was out they pulled me back in again😱
The S6 was just too good to pass up at that price; live the dream for a while and take a drink as profit, harmless fun.
