    Just purchased. Can’t wait. These look pretty tight on the vehicles I’ve seen them on.

    Do you have a full install video for these steps for those of us who are not so mechanically inclined. For example showing how you routed the wiring up into the engine compartment..where you put the engine compartment kill switch...where the wires are routed underneath the jeep from passenger side to driver side. I've seen several videos but none really show these options.

      @@caliberinstall the more thumbs up there are, the more attention is brought to the comment. There are other people who would like to know. That being said, they already explained that in the video. There is a manual switch you install so you can deploy the steps without the doors.

      @@ThePoozer69 i have em. the manual switch is just a power switch. it does not operate the doors. but you can disable them when the doors are off.

    • @Quadratec
      @Quadratec  2 года назад

      Correct, with the doors off there is nothing to trigger them.

    • @jonathanelwell9213
      @jonathanelwell9213 2 года назад +1

      Technically you can hold any magnet over the door sensor when the doors are off and it will still activate the steps, correct?

    Hey Quadratec, I have a 2021 2 door Wrangler Rubicon and I'd like to (easily) add side steps without removing the factory rock sliders. Recommendations?

      I took my JLU to Disney Land in Oklahoma. When trying to climb a waterfall, the front passenger tire slipped off and the Jeep took a really hard hit on the passenger step slider. At first I thought for sure I demolished the passenger side of the Jeep. Turns out the step slider with the additional armor saved the day. The step slider did dent, but absolutely no damage to the Jeep, and the step slider still operates perfectly. In my mind, the price of the step sliders is well worth the cost.

      I have beat my RSE step sliders on some pretty big rocks and zero dents and still usable.
