When I was about 14 my parents took me to vegas. We went and saw the david coperfield magic show because my parents were huge fans. My dad shelled out a bit extra and got us a table on the landing to watch the performance. There was a moment of awkwardness where the staff was deciding how to approach us; Carrot Top was in the theater to watch and they wanted to move him to our table. Without question, Mr. Top came by the table, shook our hands and said hello to everyone and told the staff he was more than happy with a stadium seat. He explicitly said not to move us and took a seat behind us. I always thought that was very cool of him; we were just simple family people from kansas and he never showed a drop of hollywood stardom or diva about him. He was very pleasant to us and the staff which were obviously in a bind. Hats off to ya Carrot Top. I wish you the best still. It was great meeting you.

I forgot how genuinely funny Carrot Top is.....I haven't seen him since the 90's
While not fall-out-of-my-chair hilarious, this bit was some damned fine story telling and enjoyable to listen to.
CT seems like just a straight up genuine dude, and he's outright funny 😂
He seems like a very humble dude. Glad I got to see him perform without his props.
I used to manage a comedy club in 93 when he was still playing clubs and before he found bodybuilding. Hands down one of the nicest and most brilliant comics I ever met on and OFF stage. Also incredibly insecure and was his own worst critic. He was never satisfied with his performance. Even if the room was on the floor in hysterics which was practically every night.... Also witnessed firsthand the disdain and jealousy among many of his fellow "Stand-Up's" because he was a "prop comic"....
Love this man. Pure talent. I never understood the hate he got.
I can't say that the set killed, but it was captivating. I've been watching his interview with Steve-O and he seems like a super cool guy.
I've been watching it too...steve- o podcast is great....the one I just watched was Jodie sweetin and it was a very good interview
I've seen him 4 times in vegas he's absolutely amazing !!!!!a top notch performer👍
something went right...he makes 10 million a year in Vegas
Big deal. Lots of performers go to Vegas when the relevance of their career is past.
@@masterpiecelacquers2766 Right......but his act is "hold a thing, say a line, drop thing" the fact that he is making 10 million on that is pretty damn amazing. Comedy is usually a "get in, start getting paid, do tours for petty cash until you die" success model so the fact that he was able to secure one of the coveted Vegas positions is pretty damn impressive.
@@simonausmus the guy from Nickleback has the same net worth as carrot top.
That's right.
Carrot Top is the comedy version of Nickleback.
@@masterpiecelacquers2766 The vocalist is only a part of the band. The bands combined net worth is closer to 200 million. Soooo about 2.5 carrot tops.
@@simonausmus that disproves my point that earnings dont equal talent?
I love how original and unique he is. Very Funny dude 💯
Carrot top is an American icon period👍🏻👍🏻
Looks like Lion-O from the Thundercats.
His Gay Brother Perhaps.
If Lion-O was doing a ton of meth
omg for my entire life I thought his name was Lionel LMAO
@@johannesberg8649 that was the jeffersons.
@@davejones5640 Yeah, I confuse real life TV shows with cartoons
Carrot Top in the UFC would have been like Chucky on roids, his prop would be a kitchen knife 😂
Try hard to be funny and you failed
I don’t know anyone that equals the strength of this mans patience.
Successful comics get that way by being unique
Carrot Top owns his space and no one else is there
Damn! Who knew Dave Mustaine was so funny?
haha , underrated comment
10/10
Ian Sullivan ... oh my gosh! You know his name? May I have your autograph?
I never even though of making a connection between CT and metal
Nice.
Wow I`m getting old.
You and me both, bud.
wtf was the deal with the intro jesus roy relax too real
I know right! I said, whew that was profound 🤔 😁
Yeah seriously, that shit sent me for a trip.
System really has us all cuffed by the balls though
Absolutely agree! He worked his !+×@ off and loves the genre. I laugh my !×@ off with his crazy prop comedy. He is a maestro of the craft.
That jay Leno joke had me dying
Everyone from Birmingham remembers that blizzard. If you talk to someone long enough you eventually hear their blizzard story.
Loses props in fire
*Turns hair into prop*
Genuinely happy for Carrot Top. He was such a mess at certain points in his life, but he really seems like he's in a great place right now and I'd love to see more of him. Good for you, red-fro.
lDude when was he ever a mess? You dreaming.
Carrot top was in Birmingham during the 93 blizzard. Wow cool. Shoutout from Birmingham!
Carrot Top finally getting the respect he's always deserved.
Carrottop packed my bags once.
Did you leave them over night on the street corner for good luck?
Yep, him and Florence Henderson!
@@Eargesplitten-Loudenboomer No but the reference is from a george carlin stand up show about airport questions. "Did you pack your own bags?" "No, carrotttop packed my bags".
Wow never thought I’d see Xendrius on a comedy channel comments section
@@uglyasspatrick9466 I'm just a normal doomer like yourself bro, RUclips is rigged now they removed all videos that say illuminati exists, they only promote comedy now to keep us distracted.
