There were many who are currently in government who supported those wars also. In his interviews, he has stated that he regreted his decision to support the war in Iraqi based on information that was later to be found to be based on faulty or false. If you must place blame, how about spreadimg it equaly. After all, we the people voted those men and women into office so we are all responsible for those decisions. I, for one, was saddened and angry that we went into a country and destroyed it without any real evidence that we were harmed by them.
McCain is a real hero. In Vietnam, people even lay flowers at the memorial of the site that he was captured. When he is respected by his enemy, he has earned respect.
