I am a plastic model builder. I often have a need for a small drill with my kits. So I bought and assembled this drill kit as I thought it would a helpful and useful tool to support my hobby. Sadly, I found it to not be a reliable addition to my work bench. It is more of a novelty than a real tool. I ended up buying a miniature electric drill. While I had fun putting the drill kit together, overall it was an expensive and disappointing purchase. As usual, I did enjoy watching your video.
I know this drill very well and you can improve it with a ball bearing 11x5x4 and the motor can be upgraded to a more powerful one, you can purchase the items from tamiya, or R/C hobby store, also the grease supplied with the kit isn't enough, tamiya ceramic grease works perfectly for plastic gears
- that cooool nice hand drill kit... but 4 problems are -- ' 1- NO reverse drill ' 1- NO ball bearing ' 1- NO vary speed control ' 1- NO light LED on while the drill motor on
I think you need to combine these videos with your Amtrak vids where you work on a project on the train. But you have to break for the "Bella Lagosse" graffiti on the northern edge of Chicago when you're on the Empire Builder.
I suspect the trigger lock is to prevent activation of the drill by shifting in a tool box with other tools. This prevents depleting the batteries while in storage.
Thanks for the video. Very helpful and informative.
Hey man your video was a great help it took me a bit to put it together but I got it done thanks for making the video 👍🏽
Well, I didn't know this existed. I'm definitely getting one. And I definitely smell a BOLTR tool review by Ave.
You have the patience of Job. Nice video to watch. Thank you.
Hi, thanks for the video, appears to drill okay and a great kit

thank youuu
I suspect the knob behind the trigger is to lock the trigger in the on position after the trigger has been depressed. Neat little kit!
That is what I thought too, but it works oppositely....I don't see anything about it that allows it to lock the trigger in the ON position.
