@@bradleycavalier1311 Last thing I remember... after the zombie event, Nikita tweeted asking community opinion on a Tarkov: Zombie spinoff game.... so if i put my money on it, that's what it'll be.
Its crazy we once again need a Pestily interview for any changes/fixes to happen. Also its such a bad thing to do this off one tiny community where most the playerbase probably doesn't even play anymore and the ones that do probably make up less then .1% of the total playerbase. I dont think he even asked on his discord. -The old versions idea is dumb. While at the time it fun to basically fly around spamming meds and bullying noobs it would really put off the main playerbase which most probably never touched it. -slowing progression is good for the game release but not earlier, already such a small amount of players hit end game. The full time players or streamers will just bully normal players that work or have school or just want to play casual even more. catering to streamers will kill the game. -Monetization does annoy people. Not really the fact they are doing it but its how they go about it when there are so many things higher priority that don't get touched. If there was a store in game releasing skins weekly and they said it was a different dev, people wouldn't care. But the fact it takes months of bugs and then first thing they do is release a skin that would annoy people. -economy changes, needs to happen let people take in gear and it keeps FIR if killed by non team mate but not ammo/barter. People blaming arena/bitcoin which is a factor but the largest factor for inflation is always playerscavs freefarming. - Splitting streets would be horrible, unless they make the 2 splits larger but smaller then the original. -lighthouse expansion, make a play off the tunnel, make a huge bunker system with entries at all the main points at cottages, put more loot in the middle so people hang around the middle of the map more instead of just rushing rogues. Add more barriers etc on both sides so you don't just get sniped.
After the backlash from unheard edition I get the hesitancy for more monetization, but tactical larp cosplay is exactly the sort of thing everyone would actually like to see. I literally bought the M81 woodland outfit because "finally, I dont have to grind for it every wipe anymore!"
I disagree he does have to do this stuff and cant walk off into the sunset. His game that he's charged people alot of money for isn't finished. It's like a builder walking away half way through building a house and you just going 'Oh well, he didn't have to finish it'. In my opinion.
But a builder doesn't keep adding unheard of features to the house, before it is complete. I think the issue is the builder has to add stuff along the way because the complete project was never fully financed to begin with. And people keep breaking in and nicking stuff.
I really do think that the lighthouse issue is just retcon it do a complete redesign maybe if you need to extend it further north that would give you a whole another area above the water treatment facility I don't know how that works with the in-game map though
The game is absolutely NOT a beta i agree and Nikita has gotten into the territory of needing to be a bit more clear. 1.0 needs to be released, its way past time.
1:26:10 About why would anyone play a game on a virtual machine, I play all of my games on VMs. Not because I'm cheating, but only because I use Linux and some games can not be played on Linux (even with steam's proton system). I know it is a very very small population of the player base and I understand why you think its shady. Just wanted to say there is legit reasons for using a VM. I use Linux because it means 100% freedom and of course no spying from microsoft. Thanks
this game gets worse and worse in my opinion. ive been playing since 2019 have over 10k hrs. its less fun the more changes they make. its getting stale af, so sick of tasking to unlock stuff, i dont have the time to grind the game every 6 months, i just want to pvp and have fun. if the progression gets slower and harder i doubt ill stick with it much longer tbh. also hate the way the game has changed to sitting around waiting for people being the meta, this game used to be action packed head to head pvp winner take all. they also dont fix bugs, zero quality improvements and cheaters have never been addressed properly.
Things I expect for 1.0 Mainstory being done and an overall quest overhaul. (apparently they have done this behind the scenes for years) Character slots, I think character slots for hardcore etc Prestige for main, along with seasons. While this will split the playerbase I think after a while it would be good to release seasons to help retain playerbase. Terminal (seems like its done or nearly done based on the teasers and the fact mappers have been making small edits like on woods.) Unity update (they always use unity updates as an excuse for things at this point they need to roll the update they said) Bugs (while some bugs are fine and expected, there are way to many active bugs) I think they will release when its ready and doesn't align with another games release that will split the playerbase. At this point it shouldn't be far away but I can also see it being a full year away.
34:34 that is literally the best form of "found in raid" I've ever heard
The budget is insane when you burn over 50 millions dollars on Tarkov Arena... All that EOD money down the god damn toilet.
Watch it, or they will make a spin off hero shooter, battle royal! Lol
How is that even fucking possible, seriously. All the assets are the same, so ui and maps cost 50 mil? What a joke

they invented the "give me money and take this almost done game".... early access BS at finest like EA sport
Small note: Delta Force is not full released, this is Open Beta.

Wild that makes it about 2k hours a year which is like working a full time job. What do you do for work that allows 8 hours a day 5 days a week? lol

PvE has been on for 6 months, not a year fellas.
Old Factory needs to be added to Arena
