UPDATE: The friend who shared the seed has now let me know that these seeds were in fact from Brassaiopsis hispidida, not B. Mitis. Both are equally stunning plants and I look forward to watching them grow 🪴

Brassaiopsis varieties are definitely the plants of the moment. There are some wonderful examples of such plants and not just mitis. But very well done Craig in getting these going and thank you to the person who gave you the seeds.

Adult plants look quite similar to Trevesia, but they must be hardier. I like them all

What plants would you recommend for growing and keeping in the greenhouse (UK - Zone 8b) for a year-round tropical style greenhouse? My idea is to make the greenhouse a place where we can sit and relax and read while surrounded by beautiful plants. Thanks! P.S. I have no heating in the greenhouse so hoping for hardy all-year round plant ideas.
