My answer to “ do you know who I am” , is, if you don’t know who you are then it is best we place you in custody, because we don’t want patients with memory loss or dementia in public places, it is for your own safety.

First off she cannot demand a lawyer. You get a lawyer when you are _charged and go to court_ not when you are detained or arrested. You may acquire one at your own expense before then but that does nothing at the point she is.
Second an arrest is not a negotiation or a pressure tactic. So when a cop in the Netherlands _says_ you are arrested or puts cuffs on, you are arrested. That is final. If he made a mistake doing so, you are still arrested. Some people think they are put under pressure and can give info or stuff then leave but it will never help you. Stay quiet.
