yep. not bad for a couple few days stay for people who prefer the seclusion of the back country like you and I, or to hunker down for bad weather, get some groceries and do laundry...
Saw RverTV film crossroads and I had to come see it. Made my way out there from here in Idaho a couple years ago, great spot. Stayed at lake Mead, in lake Havasu one night, shot into Vegas, but stayed most nights at crossroads. Love those burros. Hope to make it back, trying to get a new Van. ✌️ Wheelchair John in Idaho
Hey, thanks for taking a look at my video! Hope you get a new van, glad you have the desire to get out and travel regardless of being in a wheelchair! You're living proof many people don't have to give up adventurous undertakings. Take good care John from Idaho
5 bucks a day/night, that's not bad at all. That close to Parker though, I have In-Laws there that would be insulted if I didn't stay with them. Good video, Kenny!
Yep, and now that you have a RUclips channel they always know where you're at. In this case I think staying with family in a driveway actually preferable. thanks for the continued support.
I found state campgrounds in Colorado, especially the front range, are significantly more expensive and much harder to get into, although I believe most of them you can make reservations but its best to do months ahead because of how many people on the front range there are plus tourists. New Mexico and AZ have many inexpensive state parks to use. Maybe you'd have better luck going north into WY or up the Poudre Canyon and over the divide, the population thins out as you get to the west slope... thanks for watching
Nice tour of the area. Pretty cheap place to stay for a little while. Is the camp open all year and how long is it between visits? Just curious. I'm glad your Jeep is back in good mechanical order. I hope it stays strong for you for a long time. Watch out for the wicked weather happening around the county. Best wishes and happy travels.
don't quote me on it but I do think it's open all year. not sure about how often but I think the site hosts said like once a month? I'm actually now back in Colorado at work again to pay for the Jeep problems, took me awhile to get another video made I've been so busy after I made a mad dash for the front range a month ago.. Thanks a lot for continuing to watch my videos Steve.
Looks like a nice place to camp for awhile. Thanks for the interesting look around.
YW. Thanks for taking a look!
I’ve camped there a few times over the years, nice area. Good video, thanks for sharing.
you bet Steve. thanks for tuning in.
Very cool :)
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The whole area is pretty cool. Parker got a lot of history to it.

Another pleasant ride and tour of the great camping sites you discover. Thanks Kenny.
Thanks for stopping in Mike.

Awesome. Thanks for taking a look at my videos!
Great Video Kenny! I live in Northern Colorado on the Eastern Slope Front Range. Do we have campgrounds like this one here in Colorado?

Seems like forever ago now. 😢
I know. At least you didn't have to go back to work.
