THE CHANNEL:
This channel is about Kerbal Space Program and can consist of SSTO building tutorials and rocket building tutorials. Some times the videos contain bad language and adult humor but on a low level. In these videos no planet is safe as we can explore space together by landing on places like Duna and Jool and build large Duna colonies or orbital space stations. Also, Interplanetary SSTO builds seem to be a hot topic in the KSP community so I will be touching on those as well. I also build SSRT space craft. These are fun to build and easy to fly! Warships or space warships are one of my favorite things to make. Stock weapons can be very challenging and so when building them over time , you get to see the evolution of the designs. Same thing with the Warships. They get better and better with each new design.
Now , I know it's considered cheating but Kraken drives are a fun way to put things like warp drive ( like in Star Trek ) and or hyper drives ( like in Star Wars ) in your Kerbal space program game. These game mechanic loopholes are fun to figure out as you find out how they work and how to incorporate them into your star ship design.
Everything from Outposts on far away moons and Mining Stations around asteroids and comets, you name it I've ether built it or it's on my to do list! I still haven't really explored things like building SpaceX starship or any of the NASA spacecraft, and I think that's because it been done to many times. Recreations of spacecraft can be found almost everywhere on RUclips now and so making yet another one seem redundant. Only if the spacecraft recreation is of one that I loved as a kid will I even attempt to build it. Like the Apollo Moon Lander, or the whole Apollo rocket! Now that rocket was cool!
Many people have ask me if I'm ever going to wear my Mandalorian helmet ever again for my videos. And , yes. when the time is right, and I get a new wabcam, I will be dawning the helmet once more!

Waw man. Seeing so many iconic crafts you have created brings me back. I remember how I was so inspired and binge watched so many videos on so many crafts. It's so unfortunate you lost so much.
On a brighter note hopefully maybe you will get to change to recreate some of them with a new spin.
VAOS, personal request, could you please recreate or create a passenger jet airliner. I already had my go at creating some, but for some reasons I keep having difficulty in creating them, I find the centre of mass to centre of lift so disproportionate. The best I managed was creating a 80 passenger jet airplane that has the usual configuration. I managed to land it on the small runway on the island with 1.4 G which Is pretty damn good.
Anyways I would love to see you making a video on it, using flaps for landing and reverse thrust and such. Pretty please 🙏🙏🙏

I'm glad to see it's been continued and updated. I loved that mod.
I used to sink those hypersonic scoops on the side in a little bit to make them more streamlined so they blend in better.

Good video, great ship. I know how much you like math, but if you ever run out of content ideas it would be fun to see a numerically comparative video on the performance differences between design choices. Different air intakes, different RCS, 5 degree wing tilt vs 0 degree wing tilt, two engine ships vs 4 engine ships, lots of possibilities. Because like the guy said, “when you cannot measure it, when you cannot express it in numbers, your knowledge is of a meagre and unsatisfactory kind.”
a mod you might be interested in is MCWS, Modular Climate and Weather System. it adds wind to the game. could be fun to make those sail ships actually work
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, your Mk2 SSTOs look INCREDIBLY badass, I really like ‘em! I would love to see the weapons tutorial at some point! 😁
TURD is such a good mod, great for applying colours to craft, I found that using the planetshine mod vastly improves the appearance of craft with metallic paint (except chrome, which just doesn’t work in flight the same way it looks in the VAB/SPH no matter what I do)
Used this mod 3 years ago. Sad to hear the chrome is still wonky, but glad to hear the mod is going strong.
Have you heard of Conformal Decals? I know you use a lot of flags to decorate your crafts, and Conformal Decals takes that concept and runs with it. The decals instead of having a defined surface will, as the name suggests, conform to the surface of the part you place it on. -It'll fit on anything as long as it's a single part. Plus, aside from flag decals it also has a text decal that you can enter any text into. Plus, all the decals can be rescaled and have their transparency adjusted so they'll fit well with pretty much anything you can put them on.

He had a Vaos sized brain fart when it happened. I tried to help recover the files but my wonderful silly hubby did not have file recover or restore point enabled on his pc at the time. Lessons were learned that day.

@vaos3712 I have a request. When you do the weapons tutorials, can you look into using them in multiplayer? There are mods like Luna Multiplayer out there. If you can do a warship series that focuses on real PvP weapons that work and look great, that would be wonderful. You could also learn a bit about armor in KSP.
Why not use the precoolers? IIRC those are hypersonic optimized.

version specific or for any version of KSP 1 ?
Specific to the latest update of ksp1. Sometimes the mod creator keeps the older versions on the page where you download the mod.

Im getting "NO CONFIG" Message on the new menu item and some of the ship part textures look weird. Is there a way to fix it?

We all bow before the algorithm. I think I’ve seen the mod that adds turds to Your KSP SSTO.
VAOS, would you consider using the tail piece with two engine hard points and preserve the shock cone? I just don’t feel like the diverterless scoops with the fuselage is a good substitute. The extra weight, the confusing air intake logic; I don’t understand the game air intake logic. I don’t think the game does either, 1 air unit? WTF!
It does score high on cool factor though. It is nice.

I have always been a mod purist... but color... with metalic and specular settings... i mean for cars... it is hard not to think about.🫠
I was playing with this mod 3 years ago. What the modder had done then was amazing. The chrome was a bit buggy outside the sph/vab, but the steel and aluminum looked fantastic.
