Hi Ms. Ophelia, do you use the 2:1 method? If not, what percentage do you use? I'm finding that my batches trace very quickly with the 2:1 method, but if I use the default 38% I get a lot of Soda ash? Sometimes I use the steamer but it doesn't always work..... Ugh. TYA.
I use a 1.5:1. Fast trace can be from a number of things, oils used, over stick blending or fragrance oils :(

Yes. Coconut oil, cocoa butter, Shea butter, mango butter. Anything that’s solid at room temperature.
